It's all about ignorance on our govt's part. Some drug co could be making tons of $$$ distributing medical reefer, but nooooooo....

And as far as that goes, some drug co could also be making a few bucks distibuting other herbal meds, but our system is so backward thinking, they'd rather look for more dangerous pills to throw at us than use what Mother Nature hands us.

Aspirin works. Mint works. Chamomille works. Digitalis works. St John's Wort, lavendar, etc work. Those are all plants. Now passionflower and others work too, but I'm sure Pfizer could make a better med of that than I can.

Will they? No.

Why? Because they don't want to believe it can work.

They'd rather think the answer is in some lab experiment.

So we're in some lab experiment too.

UGH.

I wonder...If it works, and drug companies can't get a patent on it, or add more chemicals to it to "improve" it or make it "safe"(ha)..Maybe that's part of the reason they don't want to see it legalized..No money in that. I don't know. Some in government seem to think we'll all be walking around doped up on pot. That's ridiculous! I feel like that normally, why would I want to pay for the privilege? For those who use it to reduce pain, to make life more liveable, it takes only a small fraction of what the "potheads" of my youth would use. I'm fortunate in that pain is not a major factor for me at this point, I hope it never is as narcotics make me very ill. Not to mention the "doped up" feeling they give me.
Someone needs to get their head out of their...out of the sand and take a look at how things really are..IMHO, of course..
