Thanks for posting that!

It's pathetic that a man - any man, Montel or one of us - finds one thing to ease his pain and that's the thing that happens to be illegal.

Of all the dangerous meds out there, they want to demonize weed? seriously....

We can put toxic chemical legally in our bodies (Chemos, use Provigil, a controled prescription product - which could be sold to people on the streets, but medicinal marijuana is outlawed by government. So if my pain gets bad enough and I want to see if it works for me, I have to get it illegally?Novantrone didn't help but made me vomit, so I was ready with my source if it came to it. Went off Novantrone.

The ONLY reason pot is not legal is the Government can't regulate it. Tobacco kills millions each year but the tobacco companies give the government millions to keep it legal.

Wonder if we will ever have a president with the guts to try to outlaw tobacco.

Thank you all for your replies. I almost didn't post this because I didn't want to offend anyone or start any arguments.

I personally agree that it should be legalized. The way I feel right now, if I had some I'd fire one up! My meds aren't doing anything but making me sick to my stomach.

I have been following the comments about this video on YouTube, yeah I'll admit I've been doing some arguing there.

You know, it seems all backwards to me. You want narcotics? No problem! We have your oxycodone for pain. Child a little hyper? How about some dexidrine to calm him down! We'll even get the government to pay for it..Oh, you say you want pot to ease your pain because the rest of this stuff not only doesn't help but is poisoning your sysem? I'm sorry, but you're SOL..There's always Canada!

Wow, I had already seen a special on tv showing how the government distributes the medical marijuana to various individuals.

One of the recipients was standing in front of the White House when he made the video. He explained he's been getting this since the 70's.

Absolutely amazing.

I am on Montel's side ALL THE WAY!!!!

its sad really, that the common sense factor is no longer applied in law and business, you want narcotics go to a doctor and get a script,

want something that is as effective for a number of illness'es and not filled with dangerous chemicals and synthetically made chemicals, too bad, oh and dont get caught with it.

sorry the song Willin by little feat comes to my mind

I have 13 lesions on my brain, constant pain, numbness, the list goes on. I deal with this on a daily basis and it's not going away. I'm putting drugs into my body and really have no idea what they are, how they work, or if they are actually helping me. So far, they've done nothing but cause stomach problems and weight gain. It's a crap shoot.

People hear the words hemp, marijuana, pot and automatically think you're a pothead, a good for nothing dope addict. They don't stop to think that for some of us it is better than any man made drug. And they don't consider the things that can be made with hemp...paper, alternative fuel, clothes, shoes...etc. Nature has always provided yet it is illegal to make use of it. Ridiculous if you ask me.

Lack of education and abundance of ignorance will always be the main obstacle in legalizing marijuana.

stepping down now thanks for letting me vent.
