Kinda confused, Samantha...

Empathy implies you feel for the pain of others. So you get hurt too easily when others suffer?

Or do you mean you're just feeling too touchy in general lately? Either way, that's okay. I think everyone goes through that at times.

Hello Samantha Lynn, and welcome to NeuroTalk.

Unfortunately you really haven't given enough information for me to give you a valid answer to your post, but it's obviuosly something that has you concerned. I'm really pleased that you've found us though because support is one thing that we here on the board do well.

Welcome again Samantha Lynn. I hope you get the help that you need.

HI and welcome to NT.

Do you mean people are taking advantage of your kind nature???

Where I come from...we just call those people 'haterz' ---who needs them in life?

Hi, Samantha Lynn! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Here at NT we have a forum for general emotional support, you can view it here:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum85.html

We also have a parent site, PsychCentral where more detailed information on emotional support can be found. There is a wealth of information, some excellent articles to read, and a large group of friends who may have similar experiences to share.
http://forums.psychcentral.com/

Take a look around and you might try the search engine which is located in the toolbar near the top of every page. Hope to see you out there, and also that you'll find some helpful information.
