Default Dr appointment today...

Well as if the MS hasn't been painful enough...my good ole doc thinks I have rhematoid arthritis in my hands. He also commented that it could be in my spine...but I think that is just from an old injury, like the one in my neck.

I have two bulging discs in my neck from an auto injury...
and the hits just keep on coming! lol He did prescribe more of the vicodin so I wouldn't run out this time, told me to rest as much as possible. ok, sure...I'll try that one. lol

He didn't give you anything else? Nothing? Is he going to do any testing to confirm RA?

Glad he gave you more Vicodin!

Glad you got the pain meds. What tests does he plan on doing to check for the RA?

Oh, Momma Sorry to hear about this.

So sorry to hear about this new development. I hope he puts you on something to slow the progression of it. I have hand pain, too, although I'm sure not as severe as yours. It keeps me from doing things I want to do so I can relate to the limiting aspects of it. I sure do hope you feel better - glad he at least gave you something for the pain.

You know, good ole' banana puddin' always makes it feel better, too!!

So sorry to hear about your new problem...

So, do you sometimes feel as though you have a sign on your forehead that only Fate can read that says, "Hit me, Baby, one more time?"

Hope the meds help with the pain...take care of yourself...

Frank,
Not this time because three years ago we ruled out RA...He wants to wait a couple of months to make sure its not MS. I can at least move today, the pain is still there but tolerable. He also increased my neurotin to 1200mg a day.

Bananna Pudding...my favorite!!!

The only thing is it makes me more tired, so I have to take Adderall for the fatigue to get things done. My DIL just came in and she has a migraine, the doc gave her a shot...so I am babysitting 2 people today. My grandson is here also...has been all week, this is his mom. I think she is asleep right now on the sofa I made up for her.

I don't mind...I rather she be here than home alone. I keep it quiet here when people need rest. They be scared of the Momma!! lol
You guys have fun today...remember to take time for yourself, or you want have any for someone else!!

I don't think taking care of DIL and babysitting the GS is what the doc meant by taking it easy.

I get it though... who else is gonna do it?

If only you took as good care of you as you do everyone else.
