Mama, Earlier I told you we have Dell's. But one bad part about Dell's is that you can't just go buy parts. You have to order them. As far as Dell is concerned, that was a good move, for them.... it means more money for them if you need certain parts. I don't know the exact name, but you know the power cord you can plug into the back & then into an outlet to use electrical power? I broke mine, by bending it too much & to get another, it took a few weeks. Luckily my DH had an extra one.

Lor, It's the same no matter what kind of pc you have where I live. I'd have no clue where to go to get any parts.
Easier to order stuff online. Not just easier to find a site, but also easier to be sure you have something that'll work. My dog chewed the power cord to my laptop and we had to order a new one. Got here in 5 days. It would've taken me months to drive around looking, you know? But then, it takes me months of driving around to find a pair of jeans too. Same with the new hard drive - I used a Western Digital. Dh added some memory too, and it was here by the end of the week. I guess if you're used to shopping online the wait doesn't bother you. Me, I prefer ordering - but then, I hate driving cuz everything is so far away. 90% of my Christmas comes via UPS lol.
