Paul and Alia, new baby goats, next to Leeloo, their mother'leg

took me a few hours (and a few temper tantrums) to figure it out.

my friend took the picture, but her USB cables didn't match, (*hunting around time*) then, mi esposo had to load a program to *deal* with it, on this NON-Mac laptop computer.

hey, anybody ELSE notice their "learning curve" is altered due to MS?

things I can do easily on my Mac (in pieces on the kitchen table, WAH !!) are by memorization and rote... but learning NEW things seems to come harder and harder, and my frustration is out of proportion to the task... I just expect things to be easy, and they're not.

not that I'm dumb, just... er... um.... "hard of learning" lately!

:D

better pix later, gotta NAP again, lol!

Hey Sarah! I am sorry. I missed you. Hope you are doing ok.

LOL Honestly? I'd rather do it myself because I'd be following them around watching and directing. lol I've always been like that. I have a control issue. :p

only 8 inches... from a storm unrelated to the big hurricanes and tropical storms systems out there...

and yes, this IS quite unusual, according to the experts, to have so many named (and forming) storms lined up like this.

Hanna holding its own against shear; Ike and Josephine continue to strengthen

With four named storms going at once -- Gustav, Hanna, Ike, and Josephine--the tropics are exceptionally active today. The last time there were four named systems present on the same day was on August 24, 1999, when Bret, Cindy, Dennis and Emily were all active in the Atlantic.

hope you're feeling better Barb... been thinking about you lots, and the struggle to impart knowledge to students numbed by entertainment, reality shows, and video games..

Whoohooooooooo! Where?

FinLady 09-03-2008 12:28 PM

Barb, from someone married to an italian, those bartello (please pardon my spelling) pasta frozen meals are pretty good. Stick in the skillet for 10 min., stir once - Poof! done. Can't tell his mom and dad though, LOL. ;)

Kay, Thanks for the pics of the kids. :) I hear you about the learning curve thing with MS. Old things, not a problem. New things, it becomes an adventure sometimes.

Sandy, :hug: Hope Jim feels better soon without having to go to the hospital.

Weave, :hug: Still have you in my thoughts and prayers.

Kat, LOL. We lost our A/C once during a power outage. Hubby thought I was crazy for standing on the porch during a thunderstorm, but it was sooo much cooler than the house was.

~~~~~~
The cog fog has caught up to me, LOL. I do have a couple of paintings I think I posted to my albulm with forgetting to tell you all. :icon_redface:
I have a background drying upstairs that I may work on the foreground later today. We have plans of finding the right lighting and re-doing some of the painting photos for the online gallery thing this weekend. My hubby's even pulling out his professional digital camera he uses for weddings.
But right now, I hear the dishes calling in the background. :D
FinLady 09-03-2008 12:31 PM
Renee, Whohoo! Congrats on the two interviews
Frank, LOL. we don't do much for breakfast in these parts. Pop-tarts, cereal, breakfast bars generally make the list. :D
weegot5kiz 09-03-2008 12:47 PM
Fin those are really nice I like the tree and your use of blue I really like in springtime bloom, nice
Renee good luck on interviews
