Oh and as if my finances weren't in the hole right now anyway I called the child support enforcement people today to find out why I have not recieved any paperwork from them or anything....they had the wrong address for me I have no idea how they got it. But then she told me I would probably get my first check mid September :eek: are you kidding me! That means no money since July 15th because ex always sent two weeks in advance GRRRRRR

Today is DD16's birthday. Oh, she is now DD17. Much to do today - make cake, let cool, try to frost. lol. She wants tacos and Mexican cornbread for dinner. Yum!!!

Hi everyone! I am trying to catch up on this thread while at school. There isn't too much to do on the first day. I had my first class at 9:00. Honors american government. They were mostly first year students and seemed like a good bunch. But none of them knew where the Democratic convention is being held. And only half of the class knew who Obama's running mate is. It should be an "interesting" semester. The weather is beautiful here this morning. I have a nice breeze coming in my office window.

My graduate seminar is this afternoon -- 2 1/2 hours. so I am going to go home to get some lunch and rest awhile. I live about 5 minutes from campus so that makes it easy to go home between classes.

Frank -- your dinner sounded great. Any chance that you can send your leftovers a few hours south?

Sandy -- Hope you and Jim have a good appt and a good lunch at Sonic. Don't tell the doctor you are there for lunch.:D

Kelly -- Hope you have a good appt. I have arthritis in both of my knees which combines very nicely with the spasticity.:rolleyes: Please let me know how the LDN goes.

Frank - just trying to get my slate business up and running right now. Gave ourselves a month if nothing happens by then - I will go and find a job. I sure hope this business goes!!!

This is my finals week at school - Have a mock trial tomorrow night at the court house for Business Law II and a business presentation on Thursday.
Next time I have Algebra - any one good at it? I have NEVER taken it and I am a little worried! The other class is Human Resource Mgt - I am excited about that one. :D

went into the BF office to get a report he printed for me, there on his desk was his bank statement - I noticed one of the transactions was "Mate1". I didn't think anything of it at the time but for some reason I thought about it later. I did a search online last night - it is a dating site! He is at the quarry working (at least that is where I think he is) so I haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon. I am beside myself, not sure how to bring it up or what to do......

Maybe get your own subscription to Mate1 and contact him (annonamously of course) to see if he responds. If he does, set up a meeting with him somewhere and then show up. Busted! I know these sites probably use photos, though. Maybe you could get by without one.

I'm sorry he's doing this. I've had a couple of relationships since Tim died and they both made me so untrusting of men that I have just given up. I don't need the additional stress in my life.

My doctor's appt. went well. They took six vials of blood. I asked him if they would just do a complete workup but that I wanted to know specifically about arthritis. I should know something by Thursday/Friday.

We're fixing to get lamblasted by some big thunderstorms here so I think I'll close the blinds, get my pillow and keep the couch company for the next couple of hours! :)

Does this make us the offical post-aholics with needing a new thread? :Talkative: Is there an award we can get for this honor? :D :D

Still feeling wiped out, but need to get moving here soon anyways. Felt like this - :Bang-Head: - yesterday when I came back from the store. I hate complaining, but the past week has just been so frustrating for me, fatigue-wise. :(

Hubby's been helping me out though. Apparently, I'm getting overheated without knowing it. :eek: He'll touch my arm and tell me he can feel that I'm hot. Which is weird since I don't feel warm at all, LOL. So I've been resisting the urge to cuddle in a blanket even though I think I'm cold.
