Frank ... it wasn't the casserole ... I just ate (something good) around 1230pm (about an hour and a half ago) ... and I feel all nausous and icky, my head is swimming ... going to lay down for a bit ...

Frank and Deb....it's got to be one of the hardest things we do as parents...letting go. Letting them make their mistakes and learn the hard lessons of life. Your situation is a little different, though, in that your dealing with his challenges as well.

He knows that you're there for him and that he always has a place to come home to...maybe this will be a positive experience for him and give him more self-confidence. Maybe this girl will be a good influence on him and he'll learn about the give and take of a relationship.

It's hard to keep our opinions to ourselves..especially when we kind of know that something is not in their best interest. It's like talking to a brick wall. The more we are against it the more they are for it.

That's great that you've let him know that he's not a failure if this doesn't work out. My Dad always told us girls this...."if you learned something from it then it's not a mistake...it's a lesson."

I'll keep him in my prayers. You and Deb, too!! It never ends, does it? Even when we think they're grown up they're still our children.

Frank, I am so sorry. It's so hard to let them go but especially in your situation. He'll come home when he needs you, you know that. Maybe it will work out but that doesn't help a father or mothers worry does it?

well Sandy you may get your wish to meet us, he is planning on meeting her at sheridan its a halfway point from us and her

its so hard to have faith that all will be well, this do sucketh mucheth

this will probaly be on the 17 next week, it looked pretty close to where you are at, to say we are not scared to death would be a lie, but you all see the dilema, what if this is his one true one or chance to. argggghhhh now he says they will come all the way here, this is too much i pray it works for him.........

Sandy I keep forgetting to tell you I made a little over 8 quarts of chilie not 8 gallons yikes lol I thought about it that night omg talk about methane heaven , even still 2 and half gallons are almost all gone

Additionally, one of my best friend's son is a high function autistic child. He is now in high school and has a girlfriend now. He has just blossomed since meeting this girl. It is so wonderful to see.

Just letting him know that while you don't agree with his method of meeting this girl, that you will always be there for him.

Depending on how you drive there, if you take 2351st street/Hoxey road you'll pass right by us. We are about 9.5 miles from Sheridan.
