LOL! That sounds like hubby and me. :) Except now it's bikes for him instead of cars. I'm still the sports car lover tho.

Frank, take care of yourself. An outing sounds like fun, but don't push too hard.

Barb, Sorry to hear you don't feel good today.

Char, good luck on the test. :)

well, it's *supposed* to rain in the rain forest...

:D

I admire your Dad's dedication... we have a rain gauge, but we never remember to *check* the darn thing!

hey Kelly - what a fun memory .. I remember going truck shopping for KENWORTHs with my dad, because my brother nor my mom would!! I loved it!

had a windy, chilly day with the trick-or-treaters yesterday ... I got home about 4 and was in jammies ... tried to rest ... but, today - feel a bit nasally ... so, more dayquil ... it's 40 now ... and windy ... but absolutely beautiful looking out!

have a great day .. I can barely talk ... good thing all I have to do is type to participate in class ...

glad to hear you stayed home, Barb!!

good luck on the algebra test, Char ...

yesterday - my friend gave me some peach black tea while I was outside ... for not being much of a tea conniseaur ... I had 2 cups and actually liked it!

isn't it fun to learn new things everyday??

Morning all! I am not even going to try to post on everyone! You guys are busy little bees last night and this morning! Good to see everyone!

It's 37 frickin' degrees here and I am sick of this carp! My son called me and told me it was blowing winds and snow in Dekalb. I kept the shades down because I didn't want to see it. I did think the roof was coming off it was so windy!

If we could, we'd move farther south but right now we'd get nothing back from the house. So, looks like a few more winters here. Ugh

I didn't get to the painting yesterday but will attempt it again today. hahaha

Have a good day everyone!

Hey Sandy....I'll trade houses with ya!!

It's very windy here, too, but the high today should be in the low 50's. Tomorrow morning though will be in the low 30's. Yea!!! I love it! My sx will take a hike for a while now!

My dad has been doing it now for 25+ years for the National Weather Service and before that my Grandfather did it. He has a whole system that the NWS put in for them. Rain guage, temp guages and a special phone to call it in every morning. My dad takes pride in it. Since he has such a hard time seeing now my mom does most of the work for it but Dad still calls it his!
