As part of my efforts to reduce spending anyone got any good suggestions for online coupns sites...trying to take a chunk out of that grocery bill.

I got a few we use

couponmom.com

dazzling-deals.com

dealcatcher.com

wow-coupons.com

restaurant.com

You can compare grocery store deals in your area by putting in your zip code before you go out shopping at

mygrocerydeals.com

There is another place for coupons, but you have to order them for a fee. You still save though.

Thecouponclippers.com

Hope this gets ya started on some great deals

I like to use this site for finding sales & weekly ads, you can set it for your location.
http://www.shoplocal.com/

I bookmarked this for myself so I'll remember to use it - a whole listing of coupons links... online , printable etc

Well, I decided 6 months ago to NEVER BUY ANOTHER PAPER TOWEL AGAIN.

You have no idea how much money you can save if you don't use paper towels.

I use re-usable Shammys. I buy BIG packages of paper napkins for $1.50. They have 250 or 300 napkins in them. Sometimes it's 200 napkins for a buck.

I stock up. But honestly, I've saved TREMENDOUSLY by not buying those VIVA or store brand. I would use one or two rolls a day and THAT USED TO ADD UP TO 2 BUCKS A DAY.

Oh my god.

so think about it.

Buy Shammy cloths. They last and last.

Only don't get the zorbees, they stink.

Get either the Shamwow, or any other brand except ZORBEES

I'm saving up to get the Shamwow. I've used them a long time ago and they are great.

shelley, before you go overboard printing coupons, be sure that your grocery store takes them. many of the stores here will not take printed off coupons. there has been a lot of counterfitted ones.

the sunday paper here gives double coupons.

i clip baby and pet food ones and mail them to people who can use them. some of those save $3 or $4 off big bags of pet food or that amount off of diapers. they send me makeup ones for lil'monkey.

shelley..i'll send you ones for cupcakes.

I was joking with dh "I want Shamwows for Christmas."

Ever since then when the commercial comes on he ribs me about having a thing for the Shamwow guy.

"If you'd have stayed in New Jersey, you could have married him. See what you missed out on?"

It wouldn't surprise me if I got Shamwows for a gift.

Even if dh is jealous.

Well, I have a birthday in two weeks.

Guess what Alan is giving me? (you'll never guess!!)

A microwaveable heating pad thingee so when I'm cold, I just pop it in my microwave for 2 minutes, the beads inside the thing heat up, and when you take it out, you wrap it around your shoulders (or anyplace else), AND YOU'RE IN HEAVEN.

I had one and it lasted me 5 years. let me tell you, when that thing broke in my bed, I had millions of tiny husks all over my bed. I never laughed so hard.

He doesn't know it yet, but he's also taking me out for Japanese Food.

I LOVE THEIR SUNSHINE ROLLS AND Grilled Salmon.

Ever have a sunshine roll? I had my first one two weeks ago. Costs all of $2.80

It's a layer of seaweed, some rice, some cucumber, avacado and lemon. They roll up the roll, slice it into 6 little pieces and serve it with low sodium teriyaki or soy sauce.

Let me tell you something, when I took that toothpick and inserted the little piece into the low sodium sauce, then I put that piece in my mouth, my whole mouth exploded with the flavor of lemon.

I must have had such a look on my face (we were in the laundromat, which is next to the Japanese Restaurant). Everybody saw my face and came over and said: 'what are you eating, we want to get some".

I immediately took them next door, introduced them to the sushi chef who does the rolls, and the manager comes over and says "May I help you" and I said "All these people want Sunshine Rolls".

They got hysterical.

I'm telling you. YOU MUST TRY THIS. It's not fattening. It didn't do a darn thing to my diabetes and it cost $2.80.

My goodness, it's the most delicious thing I ever ate.

Melody
