don't worry about not doing graphics. You'll learn. I go to glittergraphics.com and learned that way. I just follow the steps. If I can do graphics, lord only knows what I'll be doing when I'm 70 years old. Probably beaming up somewhere.

I just read in yesterday's newspaper about a flying car that is being developed in California for a Russian company. The darn thing has 8 engines and can do vertical liftoffs and landings.

The reason the russians are interested in this is because of their congestion in traffic. Have they ever seen our roadways?? lol

Can you imagine, someday, being in traffic and the car in front of you, just lifts off.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS.

And yeah, I've been around for some good history and some not good history.

I met JFK when he was campaigning in front of my grammar school when I was 12 or so. I remember the first landing on he moon. I remember when my cousin went to Vietnam and the day he returned.

But my parents!!!! Lord, they were there for World War 2, the Korean War, the recession, the depression,

AND THE WIZARD OF OZ.

Everybody goes through big stuff in history. Some good, some not so good.

Let's hope this new guy brings us a brand new era.

Mel

It was a quiet birthday. We have no family in this state, but I did get the obvious phone calls and Alan and I went for Japanese food. It was nice.

The other day I went to Cornell and this is where it gets exciting. They lowered my dosage of insulin and they lowered my blood pressure meds.

Seems I might be 61, but I'm doing GOOD!!! lol

Take care

Melody

I DID NOT LEAVE OUT GONE WITH THE WIND. You are confusing me with someone who is in their 90's. lol (got a ways to go yet)

That was made between 1938 and 1939 (if memory serves me). I wasn't born until 1947.

but I've seen it many times. Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, George Reeves (in the opening scene), (he went on to become tv's SUPERMAN.

Do you realize that if Clark Gable were alive today, he would be 108 years old.

Good god!!

lol

Yesterday was my 37th B-day. Even though I was in horrible pain, I had a good day. My parents and one of my nieces came up for my birthday. My husband and daughter spoiled me immensely and waited on me 90% of the day. Happy Birthday to everyone.
