Hi everyone! Sorry I have not been on much. School gets crazy at this time of the year. Just two more days and I get a week off. I did just read many of your posts. I have been pretty busy with classes, meeting with desperate students who suddenly realize that their research papers are due soon, and attending meetings.

Kelly, I have found that ice sometimes help me too. I just put an ice pack on my head/forehead. I imagine I look quite comical.: I am also taking neurontin for the burning pain. If I remember right you quit taking it? I am still dealing with the burning, but it is down to a more manageable level. And the icepick pain has vanished. Yeah!

Frank, I enjoyed the nativity scene. You guys are really into decorating. I am going to put up my tree and other decorations next week during my week off from school. I used to outline my garage and duplex, plus shubbery with lights, but can't do that anymore. I don't think I should get up on a ladder. I do decorate the door and front porch.

Sandy, I am sorry to hear about your brother. I have one brother (he is the oldest sibling) who is sort of the black sheep of the family. He has been married 4 times, and well, he is a bit or alot crazy, and has a problem with alcohol. He called me yesterday to see how I was and spent the whole time telling me about his health problems and how he knows he has lymes. Last year he was sure that he had ms too. A few years ago he said he was bipolar. Who knows? I do not know how wife # 4 stays with him. My other brother and two sisters will usually screen his calls and will not return them, but I occasionally feel bad for him. However, when he told me that he could not make it back to Ohio at Christmas because the trip is just too hard on him (about a 6 hour drive), I started laughing. I drive 9 hours home by myself. Sorry, I did not mean to turn this post into a diatribe about the "Bob" -- my brother.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Soxlady, I love pierogis. They remind me of Pittsburgh.

aw, it's okay, honey.... that's what we're here for!

Bob sounds a LOT like my brother Dano.

*yeah, as in "Book him, Dano!"*

that's why I hardly ever talk about him, if I got started, I'd just go on and on.

after many years, nobody was ever sure when he was telling the truth,

if we five other siblings compared stories, they NEVER matched.

Dan only had 3 wives though.

Sorry you're in pain, Frank. Take it easy....were you overdoing it again??

My pain has gone elsewhere so that's fine with me!! It sure was bad this morning, though. Woke me up!! I'll never complain about the cat waking me again!! I'm not sure what it was or even if it was TN but it's gone so I'm not gonna worry about it.

I made a medication boo-boo this morning. Instead of taking just 1/2 of a Provigil pill I popped the whole thing before I knew it!! I have cleaned my entire house, done several loads of laundry, washed all the bathroom rugs, cleaned the front storm door glass, and swept the front porch. And ran a couple of errands in between to take several bags of clothes to the shelter. It's so nice to have energy.....and I seem to have plenty even without the Provigil but I'll take 1/2 of a pill 2 to 3 times per week if I have things to do.

Oh.....and I had a 2 hour phone fest with Joelle this morning, too!! If you all could hear our conversations you'd never think of us the same way again!! Joelle, you know what I mean....you know more about me than I do now!!

Well, I have no idea what's for supper and I'm not even hungry. Matt is going to his g/f's and it will be just me and Kevin. He goes to the gym right after supper each night so maybe I'll just ask him to stop at Zaxby's and pick himself up something.

Sox, I love perogies. I have to settle for the frozen ones, though.

Vonn, yeah....you're pretty goofy!!

Kay, I'll ask Matt if it would be OK if his Momma smokes MJ for her health!! I'm sure they have quite a stash of it up at HQ!

Fin, good luck with your cards.

Barb, sorry about "Bob"....I think quite a few here have a brother that's more of a hindrance than a help.

Thank you for the support and kind words!

I do have a list, Kelly, and I keep adding to it!

Frank, most of my customers know I have MS, and most of my colleagues. I'm just pretty emotional about it, and want the fewest days possible talking about it. I didn't think you were being harsh at all. And nope, no word yet on the disability. They just got my application at OPM about a month ago, so I'm looking at probably at least a couple of months, but miracles can happen, even in the government!

I'm so tired and SO COLD!!!

ahhhhh, no, babygirl.

ya wanna EAT it, not smoke it...

besides, the smoke stinks up the drapes and carpets!

and it works better in food, for TN and leg spazzes.

I have experience in this dept. so you'll have to trust me on this one,

oh, and they weigh that stuff, ya don't want to get Matt in trouble for pilfering from the evidence room, LOL !!

more better some should disappear BEFORE it gets logged in as evidence, perhaps?

not that I would ever suggest anything against the law mind you, this is ALL said in jest!

Kay, you must provide us with several recipes. I may have to sneak it from Jim though. He doesn't like to part with his precious stash. lol

um, I thought OPM stood for "Other People's Money" ??

I understand the angst of leaving work, it took me a *long* time to decide, and many accommodations were made so I could stay...

but finally, I just couldn't hack it anymore... I was using up *all* my reserves, and even future reserves, and coming home so tired, I'd fall asleep on the FLOOR, just petting the dog by the fire...

'm talking *before* dinner, and in my work clothes, like, four steps inside the front door, and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

B2Y, I'm holding you in my thoughts and prayers to get through this transition easily,
