I thought of both of these options this morning as well as contacting Craigslist and explaining that I think this is a stole item. I am leaning more towards the police as they could respond to the ad, meet him, and do whatever with him and contacting Craigslist. I know the kid had his own place and had a good paying job for at least 6 months so it "could" explain the 2 TVs. But if these are stolen, the police could help others.

Trish ... I agree with the others ... call the cops .. maybe this will 'nip it in the bud' and possibly stop any thefts that have been occurring already!!

LOL you guys, I'm on hold right now with the police waiting to talk to an officer. In the meantime I found the Craigslist listing for the exact 2 tv's he is trying to sell. I know they are "his" but this way I can give the info to the police.

DDs and I feel so taken advantage of. Stealing in any form is not right but to steal from those trying to help you, who are poor, and disabled or disadvantage is, in my opinion, almost the lowest you could go. He knew we didn't have any money as DD18 took my change, cashed it in so I could put a little bit of gas in my car. Additionally, I rummaged through my purse to get enough change to give him a day pass on the bus to send him on his way.

Hey I have to go. Gotta shower and look decent (in case the cop is male & hot). They're sending someone over as soon as that "someone" is available. I'll let you all know what happens.

Oh and btw, DD18 got up right after I got off the phone and who do you think jumped in the shower 1st. You got! Well, she is a cute girl and if he is a he and is hot and single or better yet, kind and single (and under 25) then it's ok that DD18 got in there 1st.

yep .. I totally agree with Kelly ... now that you are "ready" for Mr. Debonair ... he'll be some old codger ... but, heck - you live in AZ ... all of the old codgers are retired .. so you MIGHT just get lucky!!
