Hey All!
holly: Sorry to hear about your poochie and sure hope she recovers. My two doxies are getting old and it scares me to think of~~~ .

It's bleak and nasty here in Toad Hollow and I'm hunkered in for the day.

Hope you all are doing well.

Grin Part one.

Afternoon everybody!!

Momma,

Your stew sound delicious! Think you'll have any leftovers?

Renee,

Thank God the bugs are gone. Our sons had that in grade school and it was tough to get rid of them, I don't envy you the job of having that problem with a little girl with long hair.

Deb,

I hope you can get Frank to rest, for his sake and yours!

Frank,

Mind your wife please?

Twinks,

I'm glad you're moving in with your Dad. And congrats on getting your shopping done! I haven't even begun to think about it!

Vonn,

Mae West was sure an attention-getter in her day, wasn't she?

Sandy,

Good for you on getting your laundry finished, and I said a little prayer for Chris.

Kay,

How are the little chicklets today? And your miffed goose, is he being a good boy?

HK,

Your kitties must be real snuggle bugs. Our Rocky sure is. He sits on both our laps, and he's only two years old! I haven't had such a snuggler for a kitty before!

Char,

I'm glad you and RW had a nice time this morning.

Finn,

I hope your day was good and I look forward to seeing your other painting!

Smirk Part two.

Barb,

I'm in my sweats today and haven't gotten a thing accomplished yet, so you're in good company.

Holly,

I hope Sierra will recover from the pneumonia, especially for your dear Grandma's sake.

DM,

Have a good day in Toad Hollow!

My update:

I'm sitting at the computer since I got up. DH and I played with Rocky. A good kitty is a tired kitty, lol.

I should use the elliptical and take my shower soon. We're going to mass tonight so I can sleep late tomorrow too. I have a lot of things I should be getting done. I took the Provigil but still, here I sit. Maybe I should turn off the computer, lol.

Have a great weekend everybody!

hi everybody!!

I was off sulking, because this darn computer FROZE, just when I was about to break 16,000,000 on TextTwist (wah wah wah!)

today was Market at dawn, and a good haul of stuff for all my beebies.

yes, Wiz, Gandalf is still majorly peeved... Gwynneth walks with Connor, Larry (turned out to be a girl!) chose Moe, and Curly went to goose heaven, via a neighbor's oven...

and Glinda (Mother Goose) is busy-busy-busy, babysitting 3 dozen chicken babies... we can't tell WHAT gender Glinda is, as "she" mates with nobody... seems totally disinterested, lol!

so, where I had a PACK of seven geese that roamed together, now there's two singles, and two pairs... very strange, but mating season can do that.

we're desperately seeking new blood for our flock, but geese are HARD to find around here... the one place way way down south has been inaccessible since Tropical Storm Arthur (lol, they're named the Funny Farm!)

Belize news, we're still a "disaster area" but the flooding is finally receding, thank heavens....

Twink, it looks like Hurricane Paloma is going to head north of us, but it's hard to tell, it's so huge... we'll probably only get feeder bands, and more rain (which we really DON'T need right now!)

I'm praying for the people of the Caymans and Cuba.

A new record for the hurricane season of 2008

This year is now the only hurricane season on record in the Atlantic that has featured major hurricanes in five separate months. (snip) This year's record-setting fivesome were Hurricane Bertha in July, Hurricane Gustav in August, Hurricane Ike in September, Hurricane Omar in October, and Hurricane Paloma in November. Paloma is now the second strongest November hurricane on record in the Atlantic.

ooops, dinner's ready, gotta go, will finish later.

FRANK, get some friggin' REST, dude, and remember how MUCH you love the hospital, that should help you work a wee bit less...

I'm trying to rest I really am, ok well sort of, Fin understands what I mean

Ok you are all family as far as I am concerned, so you all can deal with this lol just kidding, I figure I could toss this out here and see what happens. I have been contemplating part time work, but herein lies my problem what can I do, that i am not walking a lot, standing a lot, using my eyes a lot, too hot, too cold, that pretty much leaves me ???

I recently got into a conversation with some lady at a docs answering service, on the phone, yeah I'm one of those weirdos I talk to everyone, any who turns out she has MS also and finding work was very hard but the answering service she said she can stand sit stretch its part time its indoors no weather issues, Just wondering any one else got any ideas on what direction I can look, I mean I have real good phone manners and a good voice for phone service or so I have been told before, and or if anyone has had a job like this at an answering service,

I got to do something, yeah my debs gonna get PO'ed about this post, sorry girl. Just been thinking a lot going to call a service that helps folks like me(weirdo) lol helps folks with disabilities and handicaps to find work, I never knew I could miss my old job, a job I had come to despise, I now long to be able to saddle a bag and walk my keister off and mis-delivery the mail

hope all of you had a pleasant saturday, Kay glad you are not obsessed with the game lol 16 mill cool thats really scary lol seriously that is real good, they got any game shows down in Belize?

you all have a great night and wonderful Sunday

Morning everyone! Not much going on today. I will probably do some cleaning of the kitchen and living room. Jim's going to watch the Bears and play his xbox game. He stopped the Sinemet and feels like a million dollars compared to the nausea and yuck feeling the "cure" was giving him. His doctor never called Friday so we made the executive decision to stop it and was wise to do so. His appetite is back and he feels much better. Sometimes the "cure" is worse than the spasms you know? I started him on valium, 10mgs, three times a day until we talk to his doctor Monday. I am not sure how his doctor will feel about this but I am going to tell him I respect him so much but Jim comes first.

I pray for all of you to have a restful Sunday. I was up last night watching God versus Satan on the history channel. It covered Judaism, Christianity and Islam beliefs of Armageddon. I missed the first part and plan to tape it on the 16th when it airs again.

Frank, you've been given some good advice. One question I have is do you know what your rated at on SSDI? When Jim first started (early 1990's), he was rated 50%, then 75%, then 100%. With each rating his SSDI went up. Maybe check on that and if your rated below 100% maybe get a re-eval from your doc to get it raised up some? Just a thought.

to all!

Isn't this funny?

Frank is it SSI or SSDI? They are different programs.

Copied from SS:
The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources. SSI benefits also are payable to people 65 and older without disabilities who meet the financial limits

The Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program pays benefits to you and certain family members if you worked long enough and paid Social Security taxes. Your adult child also may qualify for benefits on your earnings record if he or she has a disability that started before age 22.

Just curious if they are filing you in the right program.
