You guys are the best....if I could stop crying...

No we did not prepay with them. Medicare is paying for some of the care.

They did make a commitment...I have never trusted this women.

Ohhhh now I'm so upset. I agree with the others... she perhaps just told you that cuz she didn't want to come. Then she told you to 'forget about calling them cuz no one else would be out anyway, it won't help so don't'. What a bunch of bull. Call them, tami.

Makes no sense to me. We've never had home health care NOT send a replacement. Is this the same company that messed up when you went into surgery and the owner came to bathe Craig? I think you should be calling them and asking for reimbursement.

Wow ((Ms. Loo))! I couldn't possibly agree more with the rest of the good people here. You need to follow up on this! They shouldn't be allowed to pull this baloney!

And, they need to send someone else right away! You can't do this, not yet dear lady.

I work very close with home health agencies and any self respecting home health agency would send a replacement.... Its not right....I dont now about where you live but where i am there are tons of home health places... I'm sure some other agency would be more than happy to help you and olhippie out...
I agree with the others.... you dont need to be taking care of your dear hubby yet... you need to let your body heal completely....

I worked as a nurse for a home ageny for a year, and I know that a qualified company has to send a replacement. Your aid has to keep records and turn them in at the days end.Medicare is really strict about documentation, that is how your agengy gets reinbursed by them. Maybe she is reporting visits she didn't make, otherwise another aid would have to come in here place. It is quite possible that the directors have no idea she is not showing up. Please call and talk to the agency director. Don't risk undoing the benefits of your surgery!!If they can't satisfy your needs, look for another agency!!

Yes, this is the same company!

I did call the owner of the company and told him everything...everything!! He was shocked. He asked me what time of day I wanted someone there and he would see to it that someone was there...he is very short handed so I don't know if someone will show up tomorrow or not. The man is a great guy I just think he has a bunch of, well I won't say what I want to say...

He did feel bad about the care or lack of care this women was giving.

I also went to see my doc and eveything looks good. I do have some pain that the doc is unsure of but he wants to wait a few more weeks before he pulls out the big guns...MRI...and all that great stuff. I agree with him.

He did change my meds as I asked him. I hope I can get some relief finally...When you are taking Oxyxontin and Percocet and your in tons of pain still its no fun...so far it has been good...I have had a very stressfull day so I know tomorrow will be better.

I do appreciate all your support!! Your all the best!
