(((Wiz))) I am so sorry you were feeling so poorly last night. I get that way if I eat chicken or eggs. So I can totally relate. (Although, I can get away with eating a few bites of chicken and not have that problem but eggs - no way). Thank goodness for allergy meds, huh? I do hope you start feeling better soon.

Well, I finally got around to posting on the new thread. I'm home today with a sick 8 year old. It's been so long since one of my kids threw up that I kind of forgot how awful it is. I'm sitting here praying I won't get it, too. Even more praying that no one else gets it. I can't take being around puking too much. I am a wimp. Blood is no big deal to me but puke gets me every time. Luckily, he seems much better and hasn't thrown up in hours.

I have grand plans of getting a lot done with my extra day off but I'm so tired. I think I may have to scale back a bit. I hope I can get some projects cleared off of my to do list, though.

Just a blanket apology - I'm afraid I may never be able to be one who can respond individually to everyone. It is so overwhelming to me that when I think about it, I usually opt to just not post at all. I do read everyone's posts and pray when needed. I care about each and every one of you. Don't ever think I don't just because my brain can't handle a long response.

 Holly  that's what the "thanks" button is for.....I use it all the time when I just don't have the energy to post. Never feel like you have to respond individually......and never feel bad for not posting. We all know how it is. Sometimes it just takes too much energy to even log on. I felt like that just this past week. B2Y had a great suggestion for an automated post that lets everyone know you're OK just not up to posting. I think that's a great idea.

I hope your child gets better....I always hated it when mine were sick like that. There's not much you can do but wait it out...but it's not fun. I hope nobody else gets it.

How's grandma doing? She's so lucky to have you and your family. Not too many people would opt to take on that sort of responsibility.

Morning! Ok, too many pages to hit thanks for everyone. lol Know I read each and every one of your posts. Wiz, I am so sorry your sick. I am sorry hubby was scared too.

Today is laundry day and finish xmas cards. That's it. It's dark and dreary here and the snow is melting away. Frank, DebD, Wiz, I saw the weather channel say 47 this Sunday!!!! It will change I am sure but we can dream.

Oh oh, just heard about our governor being arrested this morning! What a dumb ****. Did he really think he could buy senate seats for him and his wife so he could get a cushy job? Sheesh.

Hope everyone starts feeling better soon.

Wiz, sorry to hear about the food allergy. I've got a couple of those. Hope you feel better today.

Holly, sorry to hear your little one is sick. As to the posting, we understand. There are some days I just don't feel up to it (thanks button to the rescue - lol), there are some days even with "cheating" I still forget someone. :o Don't worry, we're all in a similar boat. :Sinking:

tkrik 12-09-2008 12:11 PM

Holly - Sorry you have a sick little one. I can totally relate to not wanting to be around puke. I can tolerate a lot of unpleasantries, but puke is not one of them. That's a toughy for me.

Additionally, I too get the same way with posting as well as trying to remember it all. Don't even worry about it. Post when you can and whatever you want. It's all good, we understand.

Sandy - Barb mentioned that (Governor in federal custody) on another thread! I'll have to look at the news later - after I am done fighting with Photoshop and/or give up on for the day. LOL.

Vonn - OMGoodness! DDs hate, hate, hate it when I am in a throw away mood. LOL Good luck today being snowed in and with the cleaning out.

Hi Fin!
