Holly - It must some weird maternal thing that when the kids are sick, we clean and clean and clean. LOL I do the same thing. I am glad your DS is feeling better. I hope you are able to get some rest today.
Sarah - That is so cute! Maddie loves us as much as we love her.:p Hi Maddie! Glad you are starting to feel better.:hug: Kelly - Glad to hear you are feeling better as well. Frank - They wash their hands a lot. I am always leery of a dr that comes in the room to examine me or DDs or anyone for that matter and doesn't wash their hands 1st or put gloves on. Yes, you guys, I am a terrible claustrophobic. Crowded elevators freak me out. Now you Chicago area people will understand this one. The Sears tower wasn't built when we lived in the area but there was another big, big building that we went to to see Santa. We got in the elevator 1st and then tons of people started piling in and I freaked, started to push my way out of that elevator. My mom grabbed the hood of my jacket and those around helped her to keep me in that elevator. I, in a heart beat, would have given up my chance to see Santa and tell him what I wanted than take that elevator. I could have cared less about seeing him. LOL Yes, I am claustrophobic. Since 2003, I have only had 1 MRI without sedation. Once and only once, I tried again without as I knew that MS was becoming a reality and knew I would have to do these more often. After being pulled out of the tube 3 times, they slapped a Xanax under my tongue and within 10 minutes I was fine and we got the MRI done. Of course, I have to be careful on how self medicated I get my self. LOL. I will start hallucinating and talking smack. LOL My poor mom one day. I was seeing ghost dogs on the MRI screen that I could see from the mirror on my head cage. That was a trip. That was the last time I took 3 of those puppies before an MRI. LOL. See why DD18 is looking forward to this afternoon.:D I'm a lightweight and can't handle my drugs and she knows that. ;):p |

Glad you're feeling better, Sarah. I was so worried this was going to cause an exacerbation but so far it hasn't.....maybe I shouldn't have said that, huh......did I just jinx myself?! :eek: |

I'll warn you in enough time that you can retire!! He is one that can drive you crazy with 20 million questions and "what if" scenarios.:eek::D I'm usually good with the first 5 minutes or so and then I just have to tell him to stop. I don't like to stifle intellectual curiosity, but every answered question spawns more. I send him to Google a lot. He is one of those kids that take over class discussions. His 5th grade teacher last year said she literally couldn't teach a subject in the realm of science and social studies / history that he didn't know enough about to monopolize the discussion. :rolleyes: I am proud of him, though. |
Hi all................dd9 home sick(yuck)........I hope everyone has
a great day.....:hug::hug::hug: |
Hi all. :) Home from the doc. She gave me some Probiotics, took some blood, and set me up with a colonoscopy next month. :Sigh:
She was a little concerned, but we're hoping it's just something simple like the MS or Endo flaring. She said unfortunately the only way to know based on my symptoms is to do the test. :( So got some reading to do with all the stuff she gave me. Still can't believe the soonest they could get me in for the test was next month, but hoping the meds help. :grouphug::grouphug: to all. |
