Frank and Deb left almost an hour ago or should I say Mr and Mrs Claus? We once again had a great time visiting. They came bearing fudge, two lit up pretty Christmas trees, two beautiful lights balls (I call them disco balls) and a santa sleeping on his bed. They out did themselves. Frank took pics so I will let him do the honors of how crafty these two are. They made everything themselves and you are going to be amazed at how good they are and what the trees and light balls are made of. These two have been keeping secret about their talents and they definitely need to post their stuff on marketplace, Ebay and sell at craft booths. I even let her attach my pine cones to my evergreen centerpiece! She said she was in her element so I stepped back. lol

Deb made one tree for Jim in white with blue lights and one in green for me with multi lights. The light balls can go inside or outside. I'm not sure I trust the winds by me but Deb says they can hold up. She's not kidding, one fell off my mantle and it stayed intact.

Anyway, the day was a good one except for the beef I was taste testing for Xmas eve. Definitely not buying it, too bland. :D

Whoops! I forgot to add that Frank parted with something so special and gave it to Jim. A signed Cubs baseball. Jim didn't want to take it but Frank insisted because he knows how much Jim loves sports collectables. Jim still doesn't know what to say to that because the ball is a very special one.

Sandy, Sounds like you all had a fun day. Hope you do not get buried with snow tonight.

Tricia, Sorry about the MRI but lorazepam is great:)

Weave, good luck! we are all sending lots of good vibes your way.

Jenn, Hopefully the GI doc can help and Hopefully, it will not involve too many tests.

My update: I am really tired today (still not sleeping well) and my leg is being a pain. I am also really annoyed because I found out that the State of Illinois has not payed its health insurance premiums for over 3 months. I have over $5000 in med bills pending since September. I have not been sent any bills, But when I finally reached a person to talk at Cigna to she said they have not actually sent out any payments because the state is behind. That means the state will have to pay interest on all of these premiums to the insurers. What a mess! I do owe some money toward my deductible and max out of pocket expenses. The individual at the hospital kind of laughed when I told her that I wanted to know why they have not sent me any bills.

Hope everyone is having a good evening. It is warmer here too -- 40s. It is supposed to go up to 50 degrees tomorrow and then be in the 20s on Wednesday.

Thanks for the well wishes concerning my possible job. I have a feeling I am the only one they are considering for the job. No I don't think I am that great but that very few applied. This is a tiny, niche, not for profit library. I would be working 35 hours a month. That is month, not week. I think I would be one of three paid workers, maybe four. I'll be shocked if I make more than minimum wage. Something is better than nothing and I know I would enjoy the work so that counts for something too. Doesn't pay the bills but counts toward happiness. I sure could use a little of that right about now.

Told DH about the possible job tonight. He didn't know anything about it before hand. Truth be told I was a bit concerned about his reaction. He was fine about it.

Need to go flex my credit card muscle. Gotta get some nice clothes for my possible new job. Well I'm going to get some now while the shipping is free and wait until I get the job to get more just in case it all falls apart.

Frank & Deb - Those are wonderful! You guys did a great job on them. I had one of those "spheres" of lights way back when I was married. They are A LOT of work to make. What a true labor of love.

I am so happy for the 4 of you were able to get together like that. That is wonderful and Frank, you are right about the warm heart full of love and joy. That is what not only this season is about but life.:hug::hug:'s to you all.

Loved the trees on drugs! lol I put my tree on the bar downstairs but I am re-thinking that since I don't see it up here now. :D Jim's is on his dresser and lighting his way. :D

Thank goodness I took a pic of the trees. :p Here are the trees without drugs:
