lol, Weave, we must've been separated at birth!

you should SEE my bookshelves at home... in order alphabetically by author's last name, and divided into sections (political books, science fiction, homesteading, animal husbandry, popular fiction, etc.)

that's mainly because I can't stand up for very long, and that way, I can find what I want to read quickly and easily, lol!

glad you're having fun at your new job, dear...

Morning all. Sipping my coffee and trying to wake up. Pushed just a little too hard yesterday with my angry cleaning, and I'm feeling it. So may couch slug it for awhile, but still have a lot to do. I did read all the posts, but foggy right now. Just a round of to everyone.

I'm carless until Monday/Tuesday. I'll still meet up with Barb if all goes well, hubby agreed to be my driver back and forth to things I had planned.

Thankfully we still had one warrenty in effect. The transfer case on my trans got cracked. Drive train up to 60,000 miles is covered, thank goodness!!! It's a pricey little thing to get replaced, but we don't have to pay for it. And yet another thing that should've been a recall since it's a common problem with this model after surfing around.

I'll update when I hear from Barb to let you guys know she's doing ok with her travels.

Morning! Well, we just got lots of ice and hardly any snow. It was snowing around 9am but nothing special. I'd rather have snow than ice. I haven't heard from Chris but they are probably sleeping off the bar scene from last night. He called me to tell me he went to his first casino and won 420 on the black jack table. lol He's my frugal son and $20 is a big deal. They will probably head back early afternoon so the roads should be better. I bet when he gets to the mechanic his doors are frozen though!

Debbie, I was telling Judy in another thread to go online and find a massage cream called Spring Chicken. I use it on Jim and it's the only cream that works wonders for his muscle tightness and spasms. One massage with that stuff and he's looser than a goose.

Everyone stay safe and I will let you know when Chris gets home. He worries me because he's the child who wrecks his car in ice. Mercy me. He has always hit the brake when sliding in a panic. Someday I guess he'll learn. he's put more money in that car for dents and bangs than it's worth. lol Barb, let us know when you get to your destination through Jenn.

Photoshop tip. I put Vonn in that window like this. I clipped a pic of her and then put her over the window. I then turned down the opacity (that button is on the layers box, upper right) just enough to see her. I then took the erase tool and used a fuzzy brush to erase around her to fit her in the window. I then turned up the opacity just enough to make it look like she was inside. Give it a try and let me know how you did!

Just heard from Barb as she stopped for lunch. It's been windy and rainy travel for her, but thankfully no ice. Since we're in the 50's here, it should be that way her whole way in. Can't wait to meet her tomorrow.

Sandy, Hope Chris has safe travel on his way home.

Hey all,
WOW you guys work fast...I guess I have to quit my job just so I can keep up here hehehehee

How is everyone?? Kitty I was feeling the same...not quite jumping into the mood of it....(guess due to sisters death) but also, just not feeling myself...and blahhhh

buttttt, went Christmas shopping last night with hubby, and out to dinner..came home found oldest daughter and little ones...already decorating my cutouts for me....and Mikayla was baking and frosting cupcakes for her friends...(she asked if I would get cakemixes..so she could surprise her friends at lunch time today) she made a LOT of cupcakes...she shared a few for me to bring today to work.

today was my christmas cookie appreciation day for customers...not cookie appreciation..lol customer appreciation...today and tomorrow.

I mentioned it to some workers, and some did bake too..YEAHHHH so we had a platter of goodies...fudge, cookies, cupcakes, more cookies....for customers. I made a sign that said Thank you to our customers for your business, happy holidays and enjoy a treat on us....

I find this is a wonderful thing to get customers smiling..adn hey nothing is free anymore...a free treat around this busy time...probably can do wonders for sales building.

anyhow, also did some wrapping with hubby last night...and although I am overtired, very sore and stiff (due to me having fun wrapping and baking that I was up till 2am..and got up to head to work at 6am)

worked 7am-12noon....hubby has his work party right now so I had a short day to come be with the little ones for him to sneak out...

all this worn out..and due to the holiday stuff I am doing..and especially due to playing some Christmas music anytime I get a chance....I am more in the mood....yeahhhh

christmas CD in my van, one in the player down here, one in my player in my room...so at any time I can get into listening and relax and enjoy...yeahhh music therapy...TRY it all...

sun is shining...it has snowed a bit..but nothing like WI and other areas...usually it is us that gets it bad...some of the UP is suppose to get bad lake effect snow...but thinking we arent too much..

today the kids are done with school..as the holiday for them starts the 22nd...gues thru till they start back jan 5th..wow they get a good break this time...

I am about to take a nap with the little two, then later...as we love to bake..making another batch of cookies..this time choco chips..but I have those holiday swirl chips...have you seen them...they have red and white swirl chips also green and white swirl in the package...ohhhh ahhhh

Cant wait to see my tree Frank and Deb, watching patiently for packages..hehe Now glad I splurged for it...hugssss thanks...

well this is way long enough..but since you guys did almost three pages while I was busy doing lots of stuff...thought I could use most of a page myself..lol..

oh by the way, Maddie seen the gifts now under tree, and daddy said she was trying to steal the bows....at least so far just the bows hehehehe!!

wow, getting close to the blessing memory of our Saviors birth...hoping all that celebrate Christmas remind the kiddies...the meaning of Christ Birthday!! and all who celebrate other holidays..which this year are all overlapping within days...hugss and enjoy your holidays...hugsss to all, sarah
