Good Morning!!

I'm so happy to be back and feeling better! I've been sick since the middle of November! I had a respiratory infection that eventually advanced to pneumonia and I ended up spending a few days in the hospital. Still have a nasty sounding cough and fatigue, but feeling much better than I have in weeks.

I've really missed you all. We live just outside the city and dsl is still not available. We've been on dial-up for almost two years and when I feel bad or am sick, I just can't sit at the computer desk for any length of time. So since this episode, we've started shopping around for an internet service in which I can use my laptop.

We're checking into Alltel since they're already our cellphone provider, We're hoping to have it all taken care of before February. I'm really anxious to use my laptop again. I won't feel so isolated when I'm sick or tired.

Hello Tara sorry to hear about being ill, I get that once to twice a year it sucketh mucheth, glad you are on the rebound, plenty of rest, is unfortunately the best med right now, hope you had a nice Christmas and in case its a few days for you logging on, Happy New year, take care of yourself

Hi all. Just a quick check-in. Been napping a lot the past couple of days, guess the bod is trying to catch up on sleep.

Great to see you Vonn!!! I was sick when your postcard came in the mail. Darren brought in the mail that day and I remember hearing him say "Evangel College"??? and going on about how nostalgic the picture was and asking who sent it to me......and reminding me that it's now Evangel University. I reminded him that you attended Evangel College during the same four years that he and I attended Central Highschool. I believe that postcard might actually qualify as an antique!! I love it!!!

How long has it been since you've seen the campus? I drive by it now and I'm amazed at how much it's grown over the years. Same with MSU and Drury.

Thanks for sending it to me! It brings back a lot of memories!

I've been careful what I eat since the spicy Chimole didn't set too well.

here's what I had for breakfast:



it's called a Cherimoya, and the one I polished off was a little smaller than a football.

there's no dishes to wash, the peel forms its own bowl, just grab a spoon, and scoop.....

Imagine the flavor combination of white nectarine, mango, banana, with a hint of pineapple to boot!
