Good morning! Oops, I guess it is afternoon now. I ran a few errands this morning -- drugstore and grocery store. I am going to see a movie later on this afternoon -- "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." It looks different.

I have noticed the past week that my right hand is getting that numb/tingly/ going to sleep feeling more often. My neuro said it is carpal tunnel, but I am not sure I agree. I will have to mention at my appt on Wednesday. I am right handed so I hope I do not lose feeling in it.

hi everybody! Hope everyone is doing well...we had a really good time at our friends' house on NYE...played Xmas Bingo, and someone had brought a bunch of cheap gifts for those who got bingo...then we played Pictionary, boys against girls. We got trounced for a change...usually, the boys are awful at it...
yesterday my DH and I took his mom and dad grocery shopping...I am taking her for a stress test in a few minutes...pray for good results, please...

shots are getting easier to deal with. I'm pressing a cotton ball onto the site right after I inject the copaxone, and it hurts a lot less now. Now it's just the welts and itching that I have a hard time with...by the way Frank, I also forgot to take the red thing at the end of the autoject off, sprayed the bathroom...lol. sorry I laughed at you...

Thanks again all for my dads prayers! He seems a bit worried about it all, not surprising, and I think he is feeling the why be positive about it being found early..as Madeline was always full of positiveness and we lost her feeling. I think I know what his scared feelings and worried feelings are about...just never been thru it..

He is over getting bloodwork done today,and my sister took him, so she can help grab the orders and stuff he needs for CAT scan on Monday. She also took him out to lunch I think. Wish they called me..hehe

We now have plumbing, there was roots growing into the pipes or whatever but like 90 ft out..so we wouldnt have ever reached that to clear it. It wasnt too bad of a cost.

Well all, we have tree down, living room a bit more organized, stuff away, just want to try to deeper clean around house. (I never get enough energy to get stuff done around here) Using my oldest two for a lot of the moving stuff around. We also will have to soon, not for sure today, go down to the basement side that the leaking that got floor wet..and as it is almost dry...clean floor and are with bleach or something. But also check thru what is down there..and clean up...uggggg

I am feeling blahhh, as hubby asked me today, and I said well gotta be as happy as I can thru it...that is why i try not to talk about all the pain, numbness, and all to him and kids. live with what you got...get thru it I guess.

The prednisone I think now that took second dose is helping, lots less numb,
and of course didnt hit me with as much as last time energy with it...but hoping as I want to get more done today. Sun is shining..but cold out there.

I did manage to take a walk yesterday, as the snow flurried about me, with numb legs and all. Felt good to get outside, always a good for the mind thing to do, I love walks and miss them. Going to try to get mroe in even if short ones.

and the yoga..with duckies...or without duckies lol..

Ended up not going to the movie. I found out that it was 2 hours and 48 minutes long. That would have meant about 3 ours or so of sitting, and I did not thiink my legs could handle it today. I would have gone if I was only going with one person due to guilt, but two of my friends are going. The interesting thing is that I could understand that neither of them could understand why "just sitting" hurts my legs. "Big Sigh!"

barb, right now I so know why!! something is going on where once I am sitting or in bed laying down..my body from hips down the butt thru both legs are going so numbish..and then also at night arms too...:( not having too much fun of it!!

but at same time...started the prednisone, hoping it helps more. I am trying to focus on fun in life no matter my body!!

new year, new thoughts, new healthy living, new getting enough rest when needed :rolleyes: (that one is the trickiest) some yoga, some walking.

Anyhow, we got the tree down all away yeahhh
I made it to the store, and actually bought products to make lasagne...(my kids are hinting for real meals...I have been so lacking in that department for many years, having cereals pancakes, anything easy ..help themselve nights)

I know they enjoy real meals, and I should be able to put together simple ones on work days, and all. I love lasagne so when My daughter got on me about dinners, and she said she would help....we decided lasagne...
we have some french baquette bread to bake in a moment, and heating up some corn too.

Then, one of my friends, who is a mom of Kaylas friend, called and asked if we are up for company, so I invited her over after dinner time. We can have some apple pie my mom sent to my house last night. and we plan to play some Wii. Even if feeling cruddy, might as well enjoy the time, instead of sitting patiently waiting to get to bed..and still feel cruddy right.

I wont overdo anymore tonight, and a lot of the cleaning I did today, was totally with the kids working hard...

Got the decs down in the living room and rearranged some furniture. Still waiting on bins to come in so everything is piled in the basement. It's amazing how large the room looks once the decs are down. It's like a new room. lol

duhh Sandy I so read that wrong..I read it like Decks...and wondered wow you have so much decorations you set up some kind of decks to do them up...hehehehehe lol..
