I bought some tanning wipes for a fake tan for my vacation. I tried to do an even job, but kinda messed up the first try. Got too much on my toes and not enough other places.
So I tried again this morning, thinking I could fix yesterday's goofs. Well, now they're twice as bad!!! How am I going to get rid of these hideous zebra stripes in time for the cruise? I bought some capri length pants that expose that area! Help! I don't like it when people point and laugh.

Okay.....I've recovered from Frank's joke somewhat.
Twink, I use those Tan Towels in the summer on my arms. Since I don't wear shorts anymore (nuff said.... ) I don't waste them on my legs but I do like to have some color on my arms. Here's what I do: Exfoliate prior to applying the tan. I cannot emphasize this enough. The best time to use the towels is right after you shower/exfoliate. I wear those latex gloves when I use them 'cos I don't want the palms of my hands to absorb the color. You can do the backs of your hands last. When I'm done I take the hair dryer and put it on the coolest/lowest setting and dry my arms off for a minute or two. I haven't had any problems with them.....I ordered mine from HSN (Home Shopping Network) but have found you can get them off Ebay much cheaper. Good luck!

Oh, my multi-striped buddy, I hate when stuff like that happens! Maybe calling in an expert (someone from a tanning/beauty salon)? There's gotta be a way to at least lessen the color..

You'd think...but if it involves Clorox...I dunno.
I think I'll try the lemon juice suggestion just to see. Even if I get the offending leg fixed, I'll still need to match colors with the other. Ugh! I guess this is my payback for (secretly) laughing at others with stupid fake tans! *bangs gavel* Guilty!

Twink, what about using tea to stain you where you missed? After you exfoliate.
One of my sisters used to steep tea real strong and put it in a spray bottle and mist herself while tanning. Get more tanning stuff to use on the white spots? You are so pretty, no one is going to be looking at your legs. Just smile big.
