ok yall help me out here, I am slowly coming to the conclusion I do too much shopping and walking and am still embarrassed to use a moto chair at the stores, I mentioned to Deb I might go early next time to the store, and try one when its not as busy, it just sucks I dont want to give in, I want to be me the person I have always been it just sucks, sorry about the Whineo

Trying to get myself in gear here. I work today and want to stop at a store before then. They are calling for snow changing to ice starting about the time I start work.

Yesterday's if- I- can- get- only- one- project- done- today got done. Wahoo! Both Christmas trees are back in the attic along with my swags and garland. What a hassle it was getting all that back up in an already stuffed attic and in the fartherest corner from the steps. At least I didn't have to listen to DH's wrath like I did when he got the stuff down from the attic for me. I just created my own string of four letter words every so often.

I have pictures to cut apart then the yearly holiday newsletter to write, etc. Hopefully that will get mailed by the end of the month. Some years they don't get out at all. I swear one of these years they will get out shortly after turkey day. Everyone will faint and I will fall over dead but ...

Gotta finish getting ready for work and hopefully get a bit of shopping done before winter's white carp arrives. Snow! Ice! Blech!!!

Frank, you might have something there. I know sometimes I push because I used to do so much more and con myself into doing "just one more thing" on the to-do list. It's usually that "one more thing" that does me in.

I've been saying for a year that "next time" we go grocery shopping, I'm going to use the putt-putt. So far, "next time" hasn't come. I'd probably run over a bag boy anyway.

We are getting "unknown precip" here right now. LOL! It sort of looks like freezing rain or sleet. I have a hair appt at 9:30 so hope it is not too bad out there. Weather is supposed to be ok later in the day and tomorrow so roqads should be ok for drive to St. Louis. I am supposed to meet some friends early this evening for dinner at a Mexaican restaurant (one is in town for a few days -- has moved away) so I hope things are cleared up by then.

Wish me luck! I hate this weather.

I was having someone clean my place every other week for over a year. I did love it for awhile! But then, I fired them in October because they were not doing too great of a job and were charging me more and more since they charged by the hour and it was taking them longer to clean. I need to find someone else becasuse I cannot scrub floors or tubs. I have been using my swifter and a chlorox sponge bath wand on tubs, but they are not getting as clean as I would like.
