Barb, no problem. That's sweet of ya to have it in your office.

~~~~~
Taking a break from cleaning and exercising. I feel like pushing today since yesterday was a nap-fest for me, but trying my best to just putter instead of going at Mach 10 - LOL! Just doing the things that can't be put off for too much longer.
Getting a little nervous about the test next week. Don't know why, I'll be only semi-concious during it. Gotta love those drugs!! Just hoping they can find a way to help with this pain I've been having.
Hope everyone's day goes well.
Morning! The day started out drama. Boys getting ready to go back to school, Nik forgot to buy water mix for Jim yesterday, no one took out the three bins of recycling or garbage, garbage was tossed in with no bag, mom rushing to feed animals, get garbage and recycling out, boys packing and getting out of my tasmanian devil way, Jim drinking his coffee and laughing, dog barking to get back in to eat, cat being tossed out of the way before he got trampled, etc. Shall I continue? lol
Frank, we got your water though! lol
I will be sweeping and mopping my floors after the boys leave. And getting to that kitchen table I never did the other day. lol Then it's showers for Jim and I. Then rest and sleep and see Frank and Deb tomorrow! BTW, Frank and Deb, ignore my basement, it's piled with xmas stuff. Question, did Donald pay you guys? If not don't worry. Jim and I will write you a checkaroo if he didn't and he can pay us when we deliver them.
Have a great day everyone!!!
Made it home. Side streets are a mess here with a sheet of ice and sidewalks are horrible. Main streets are ok. I would much rather have snow than this **** freezing rain.
After hunting for them in at least two stores I finally found mesh bags for washing sweaters in the washing machine. Wahoo!!! Now I can have clean sweaters! How pathetic is that, excited over bags that make me do work? I know I have other ones here but can't for the life of me find the durn things. And I used all of them in the last month too so where the blazes are they? I don't have much work appropriate clothes as it is so I need ever option I have clean.
Speaking of work there was a bit of excitement there today and it was all because of me. Boss was programing the alarm system with my info but it didn't take. We ran through opening and closing and naturally the system didn't recognize my code for opening. That set the ear piercing alarm off. Everything is fine now but all three workers have major headaches.
So sweater washing, dishes, and fetching the kid from school in the ice storm are on the afternoon to do list. Then I get to worry while DH drives to a class one hour away tonight. It is at a hotel so we are sure they will not cancel it. To top it off he will be using a loaner car so his can get some work done to it. Ice plus unfamiliar car plus cranky DH due to ice/ car equals worried me.
Sweaters to wash...
Good afternoon all...took my 10 yr old golden retriever Sanford to the vet this morning...he has a tumor growing on his lower left eyelid. Vet numbed it and cut it out and sent it to the pathologist...hope it's not C...
is it because it's January, or the cloudy, crummy weather, or is it just me that is making me so darn crabby? My poor DH is calling me less and less during the day...never knows which me is going to answer the phone...nice me or b&$ch me...poor guy...I'm trying to act better, but it's not working...grrr.
Sarah, thanks for the info about your dad...prayers going up for him and for all of you...
Hi Busy Bees!
Frank - It is so easy for me to say, "Use the motor cart at the store." But, much harder for me personally to do that. However, conserving energy is what we all need to learn to do. If using it helps, then some day, like you said, use it when the store isn't as busy and give it a try. Just imagine how much energy you will have left after you shop.
Kay - One more day and it's TWINK DAY! LOL I hope you guys have a good time and the weather is good to you both tomorrow.
Sox - Isn't it great to be back to the old routine. With DDs being out of school my usual routine is messed up. DD17 went back on Monday and DD18 goes back next week. Phew! LOL. Enjoy the time. Oh and the coffee maker, did you find a good one? That is essential in my house. I actually several months ago my parents gave me their old one and it has an "automatic button." Wow! I love that. Coffee is ready when I wake up!
Barb - Love the "unknown precip" term. Must be coming from UFO's. LOL Glad to hear you made it home through the mess.
Fin - Don't worry about the test. You will be sedated and be just fine. Saying some prayers for you.
Sarah - Saying prayers for you and your family as well.
Sandy - Um, glad I was out of your way today too! LOL You had quite the morning. I hope you got to rest some this afternoon.
Weave - Yup, gotta have those clean appropriate work clothes on when you set the alarm off. LOL That is a cute story. Congrats on getting the decorations put away. I did that this morning too.
DebbieD - Praying for you little guy and hoping the pathology report comes back negative.
Hi Everyone else! Hope you all are having a good day.
If that's a "light" day I'd sure hate to see what a "busy" day is like!!
ooooooooooh !!
thanks for reminding me... I forgot to check the incoming weather!
http://www.hydromet.gov.bz/
okay, scattered showers, mainly DRY... but I'd better put the unbrellas in the truck anyway.
THANKS Trish !!
my day... sold a pair of guinea pigs to a neighbor child today, that took an hour (care instructions, and securing promises of NEVER forgetting to feed 'em)
Eduardo has decided to name them Alex and Maria... and I got him all set up with a water bottle, salt lick, some pellets to get him started, and made him memorize what they can eat (lechuga, repollo, carrots, callalou, cilantro, yerba more, etc.)
whew!
then, it was time to process two ducks... they're all done now, YAY, but... I must have been trembling a bit, as I SLICED my freakin' finger TWICE (ouch ouch ouch)
then, it was... wash up, and iodine + bandaid time.
with all the excitement, I never DID get the bed made, and never got a nappybye (wah!)
and there'll be no nappy tomorrow either, what with travelling to meet the GREAT TWINKLETOES !!
hey, maybe I'll bring a pillow, and sleep during the drive...
