...to complain about the cold and snow..
You know, people up here in the cold nort' are very proud of the fact they can survive ridiculously cold weather and deep, deep snow. I know people in Florida who take pride in riding out hurricanes, and my brother in Oklahoma who gets a thrill out of watching tornados come close to his house. Really..What's wrong with us?  It hasn't gotten above zero all day. I'm looking at 8 inches of snow on my deck. More snow tonight, high tomorrow (ha) is zero..Folks up in International Falls, MN are proud of the fact they broke the record for the low temp last night, no small feat..I think the air temp was -42, don't know what the wind chill was.. I think the cold has frozen whatever's left of my brain cells. That's good, though, as once they thaw they should be as good as new..Then I can go back to complaining about the heat..
