Default Spring in February

Cold weather NTers must think I am bragging about the weather. I am not. If it is this warm now, Summer is going to be like an oven.

In the "wet" season, commercials are preempted by the weatherman to say, rain is coming! We get obnoxious horns blaring on the station and pictures of Arizona tracking rain at EVERY break.

I swear that our neighborhood is in some sort of "vortex." It rains all around us.

And just you watch, this Severe Weather Report may end up producing about 1/2 " of rain.

WATCH OUT, YOU MAY HAVE TO USE YOUR WINDSHIELD WIPERS!!!

You have been running your a/c too? I had to turn it on yesterday just to cool the house down a bit. Crazy.

You got that one right! I am worried about summer now. It may start in another month! That would mean a good 8-9 months of hot weather.

Oh but did you see, a cold front with rain may hit us by this weekend. We will be down to the upper 50's with rain. Nothing like going from 80's to 50's overnight. LOL

Twink - I wanted to acknowledge your post but somehow, thanking a person throwing up was a bit of a stretch for me!

And I just checked the Severe Weather Report.

It says we may get a half inch to an inch of rain!!!

30% chance by tomorrow night.

Batten down the hatches! get ready to puddle jump!

It just seems so inconsequential compared to the weather in other parts of the USA.

In 2004 we took a trip to LasVegas to celebrate Christmas through New Year's. After we checked into or hotel room, Hubby turned on the TV (naturally ) and there was non-stop reporting of the winter storm warning. Which was cooler temps and a 24 hour period of rain.

We couldn't help but giggle...after leaving Michigan at below zero wind chills! It worked out great though...we needed to rest and sleep and adjust to the time zone, and we slept through the "storm".

Default weather update

Yep. The weather is so severe that there is nary a cloud in the sky and 68 degrees. It was supposed to start raining last night. Now our rain has been pushed back until Saturday night.

Stay tuned!!! The red * is still attached to the Scottsdale forecast!!!

It could rain! Oh no! I wonder where to find sandbags?

oh yeah my dear friend moi.

The Superbowl game was nothing short of GREAT even if the Cardinals did not win. Who knew the Steelers were so easy to push around?

Goodness! I had to buy an umbrella today! I searched online about "How to Buy an Umbrella for Dummies" as I didn't know how. I couldn't find anything on the subject. But I did learn there are many, many different kinds of umbrellas. LOL

Seriously, I didn't buy an umbrella. I have 2 tucked away (1 in my car) for the monsoons. LOL
