If the media would just ignore her she couldn't get her stupid story out. Hey you guys in Cali, has anything been said about getting the kids out of her grasp yet?

Just finished watching Dr. Phil today. He had on an array of professionals. One thing brought up was plastic surgery. I believe it was a doctor from "The Doctors"? show who is a plastic surgeon. He was asked if she had plastic surgery in his opinion. Yes, she did. He pointed out her lips (well that's evident), her nose job (you could see this when you really looked at the comparison), her cheek bones, etc. This was his expert opinion without seeing her medical records. The cost - $20,000 - $30,000:eek: Where did that money come from?

Of course, one of them pointed out that it could be swelling due to the pregnancy, etc. but the doctor said not the nose job, the lips, and the cheeks.

They did bring up about taking the children away from her but as the Social Worker? or whoever she was pointed out that that is not the way to go as the children could be in foster homes which isn't the best idea. She said that there are many programs available to help the children, get a bigger place to live, help the mother, etc.

Another pointed out that no matter what kind of elective surgery or this IVF which is elective, the patient needs to understand, etc. Obviously, this IVF should not have been done on someone of her age, who is single, has 6 other children, and no means of support. But, the fact is, it was done. So now it's how to best help the children.

Also, they said that her sperm donor, her mother and father asked the doctor not to do this. What a mess:(

Ok, so apparently she was writing to Angelina Jolie. I hope she isn't expecting to adopt out the babies to her? :confused: She denied ever having plastic surgery. :confused: Those poor kids.

the topic is no joke though, sad for the kids!! Trust me with five kids, it is hard to give them attention they each would love, and I can not imagine Octuplets on own much less after 6 other kids..uggggg

That Dr needs to pay all the medical bills, all the support until ALL of the kids are 18, plus schooling, then go to jail.

I was almost purposely not paying attention when the news started coming out on this woman. When I heard the full story...I did NOT cope with it well. It is soooo disturbing, So much faulty thinking here. I am particularly furious with this doctor. Where are the ethics? Where is the accountability?

Well, apparently CPS has no choice but to take a good, long look at this case....

Beverly Hills Psychiatrist Carole Lieberman filed a complaint with CPS (Child Protective Services) to have all eight Octo babies placed for adoption. Nadya Suleman is unemployed, might be on disability, already has six children...some of whom might be disabled, might be deffering her student loans to help pay for some of the children's expenses and is relying on funds and day to day support from her mother and elderly grandmother to care for the children she currently has. Lots of financial woes. Lots of responsibility. Lots of problems. Yet, she has 8 more children and has a cavalier attitude about the entire thing...totally unrealistic (delusional) about what is involved.

This is the most disturbing, because as already pointed out, she's single and not working, disabled and all that.

But she's not the only one with too many kids to take care of. I really don't get anyont, married or otherwise, who keeps having kids or adopting them untill they have a zillion.

I keep seeing a commercial for tha family who is having their 18th kid! The oldest is getting married, and they are having #18.

How can they take care of all of them, and who is helping feed them?

In other countries, when a woman has IVF, only 2 embryos are implanted, not 8. That's so nobody has a litter. Litters are fine for dogs and cats, not fine for infants.

To many babies lives are put at risk because here we are not doing what is right for all embryos, what is safest for all infants - limiting the number of implants.

Parents who cannot make that simple first decision are certainlyt not prepared to make the more complicated ones that will surely arise.

Reminds me of a mormon family. With only one wife.

When you have that many, you don't have any spoiled kids who demand all your attention. These kids have been taught from birth to share and share alike and assume responsibilities.

But she's having another one? I can't imagine what her body looks like.

She's been pregnant most of her life. This has to be hard on her heart and other organs.

But she looks good and she doesn't look stressed. And because they have their own tv show, YOU KNOW THEY HAVE MONEY COMING IN.

So college will be paid for.
