That was very nice of you, Curious! I know it must have made that man feel good.

We ought to have us a yard-sale here, too. Our whole third-floor and attic are filled up with stuff we'll never use again. When we built our house we left the third floor unfinished, and we just use it for storage. There was a time when I would never have believed we would ever fill it up. But I guess it's like they say, your junk always grows to fill your space.

There's something to that whole e-bay thing. My dad used to run a thrift shop, and he put some of his items on there. He had an old doll he had been trying to sell for two dollars, and on e-bay he got several hundred for it. Of course all the stuff didn't sell that way, but still...

Ya been doin' any cookin' this weekend, or have ya' been too danged busy? I'm feeling hungry...

I love Chinese food. Well, some of it anyway. I don't know that I'd like having a brain on my plate...

I had Subway for dinner again. A club sandwich. Been doin' too much of that lately. I don't know why, but I haven't felt like cooking at all this week. All I've been doing is sitting around being bored... I need to find me some good movies to watch.

comfort food. that is what you need. or how about making breakfast for dinner? do you ever make stratta? it's easy and kids love it. especially if you make it like big ole baked pan of french toast.

i have leftovers....but i ain't sharing my brains

Hi Kamie! Those sure are some cute kids! What's wrong with your little boy? I hope it's nothing too serious. I never thought I'd say this, but I kinda miss those nights of sitting up with my kids when they were babies. I'm sure it's just nostalgia though, and if I had to do it again I'd kick myself for saying that...

Curious...you can keep your brains all to yourself. Not that you don't have plenty of brains to spare, I'm sure... . But sparing and sharing are two different things.

I don't even know what stratta is. I've heard of Eric E'Strata. Is that his name? I do like fixing breakfast for supper sometimes, but usually it's scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and fried potatoes. Sometimes I do omelets. I've also fixed 'breakfast spaghetti' for dinner, where you mix the raw eggs & crumbled bacon or sausage with cooked noodles, then fry it up in a skillet. It's pretty good...

I thought Remember The Titans was a movie about highschool football. Am I thinking about a different movie? If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was a very good flick. We have about two hundred movies in our house, but most are kids movies. And anyway, I've seen them all several times. I need something new...

Trust me, it is nostalgia. Lack of sleep does things to your mind. Natie has bronchiolitis that is not going away. We have been to the ER twice and peditrician twice over this. If it does not get better by the AM, we are going back and demanding some answers.

Poor little guy. He must be miserable... It isn't anything dangerous is it? No really high fever or anything? I sure hope he starts feeling better soon, and lets Mommy get some rest.

As for being up at night...well...we're no strangers to that. Hence the 'Night Owls' thread...Hoot! Hoot! We're always glad when somebody else drops in to visit. I think I bore Curious sometimes...

Kamie,

I hope he is feeling better soon. When our little ones are sick we are, too. I went through it with our kids and now the grandkids. Give both of them huggggggggggggggggs for me.

Another long sleepless night...

Looks like I showed up tonight long after everyone else is sleeping sensibly. I hope you're all having sweet dreams!

Kamie, I hope your little one is feeling much better tonight, and you are getting some peaceful rest.

Curious, I hope your snoozing, too. I know you need that rest to recuperate from your mad weekend yardsale. Maybe I'll see ya tomorrow.

Have a good night everyone!!!
