Hey Curious! You're up late tonight. Or should I say early this morning?

This place has a chat? Cool. I hadn't realized that yet. I will definitely have to check it out.

Actually tomorrow (today!) is only for a consultation, to find out if the surgeon will perform the laparoscopy or not. I went to two surgeons last year, and they both declined to do it. I couldn't figure that one out. I thought that if a doctor recommended you for the procedure, and insurance was willing to pay for it, then any surgeon would be only too happy to do it and make some money. Guess I was wrong.

The woman I am seeing tomorrow is supposed to be really good. I'm hoping she'll agree to do the procedure, and that it'll have a good result. If I don't have any luck with this it will be a whole 'nuther year before insurance will agree to any more expensive tests. No MRIs or CTs, or anything like that. I don't want to wait another year! I want to go out and have me a good time!

So, what's keeping you up on this fine night? I hope it's nothing bad. I know, you were just feeling sorry at the thought of poor widdle me sitting here all night in front of my computer alone, right? Why, you're so thoughtful! I'm hoping I'll be able to doze off for a while at some point. And you gotta get yer rest too, 'cause you've got a business to run.

shoot sweety, i don;'t even try to go to sleep until close to 2 am. most nights i can't sleep for over 2 hours at a time.

plus..and this may sound selfish, but this is the only time i ever have to myself. these monkeys..including hubby follow me around!

they will even stand at the door and talk to me while i go potty. drives me bonkers. i know i am wonderful and swet and they love me...but sheesh...go away monkeys!!

oh..and get this...lol...i have an intercom system. so if i happen to sneak somewhere without a tag a long...they intercom the whole dern house! weirdos. lol

my mother thinks it's sweet.

i hope you get the a-ok from this new lady dr. think positive! there is reason why those other dr's turned you down. just wasn't meant to be.

btw....hubby is doing the day to day stuff. i'm behind the scenes. and boy do i have some stuff to do tomorrow. my webiste has 3 pages that are offline.

Now that's just too funny! They actually talk to you through the bathroom door?!? Bet that's a bit trying sometimes.

So you're behind the scenes, huh? Kind of incognito like me? That's pretty cool. 'Course it means you have to wash all those sweaty towels, right?

I have one of those intercom systems, too. I live in a really big house, with a basement and three floors, so it's a necessity. My little girl gets on it when she gets home from school and goes "yoo-hoo...daddy...where are you?", so she doesn't have to spend the energy looking for me. I fix her a hot snack every day after school, so I'm always the first one she looks for when she walks in.

What's on your website? Exercise stuff? Am I allowed to check it out?

i know the first 3 pages are offline...so it will show an x. i can get it back online in a few minutes. dang server was acting up and wouldn;t let me load new pictures. and some links are messed up. so go easy on me k...? lol
btw...i think i got all the pages up...but i know links are messed up

i have a 4000sq ft house. i thought it would be big enough to have some space of my own. nope. so this winter i am having the attic area over the garage converted to an art sudio just for lil ole me. as we speak there are tinker toys on my desk. and it wasn't me playing with them!

i really kid you not about bothering me at not so good moments.

and yes..i have the towels to wash. all the business side. ap/ar...accounting..advertising...never see adults type of job. elmo was real cute today.

it is nice to be home for kids afterschool. it's special time isn't it? you know your daughter will always cherish it. so what is for snack tomorrow?

I didn't know you were a writer! I love to write, but I don't do it as much these days. For a while I had a regular column in a local paper, called 'Auto-Talk'. I didn't get payed for it, though. At least not in cash. I traded my writing for advertising in the paper. Do you write anything besides fitness articles?

I'm going to check your website out. I bet it's great! You know that since you posted that link, everybody else is going to be checking it out too, so you can expect a lot of feedback on it. Don't worry, the people here are gentle and nice, most of the time.

You have a big house, too. It sure makes for a lot of work sometimes, doesn't it? I can't ever seem to keep up with the maintenance. Sometimes I wish we hadn't built it so big, but at the time it seemed like a good idea. Like you, I thought I'd have plenty of room, but it doesn't seem to work out that way, does it?

You don't have to be ashamed of playing with tinker-toys, Curious. Are you a closet tinkerer? Well come out of the closet and share those toys! You ought to get you one of those new erector sets. Those things are fun!

Snacktime for my daughter is always Ramen noodles, a breaded chicken pattie, or an egg sandwich with cheese. She's a very finicky eater. There are only about two-dozen kinds of food that she'll eat. Usually whenever I fix supper I have to fix something seperate for her. But she's so sweet I let her get away with it. It makes the other two jealous, of course, but they realize she's the baby.

loo...i could use the input. this is my first try at web stuff. one of the pages is pretty much crap. it still has stuff from the old club. i am determined to get that fixed tomorrow. and the links. lol.

i love to write. i have boxes filled with training manuals i wrote, fitness, health and nutrition articles that were published. and tons of short stories i want to turn into children's books someday. i also paint and draw, so i want to do my own illustrations.

i have done some of the same type of things...have a column in a local paper. i did it monthly for trade in advertising. lol.

have you thought of doing that again? maybe even online? i guess i keep it to do if the time comes that i can';t do anything physical.

oh...boy...do i hear ya on the house size! oh yeah...we will all help clean and fix stuff....promises promises! lordy....hubby just isn't a handyman. i LOVE powertools! and nice big roll away...:::swoons::: tools...and anything for my kitchen. lol. part of me really regrets buying house with a pool. high maintenance. and boy dothey all disapear when when that needs work! but are jumping right in after i'm done.

i'm sure all the kids have their own special little thing from dad. i'm the baby too. i am very very close to my dad. my siblings never have been. for us..he had more time when i came along. our bond has really helped with his illness. he would never have taken the help from my siblings.

oh...and for the record....the tinker toys are grandmonkeys....the old happy meal toys from the first years....those are MINE!

So share the happymeals toys then! I don't go much for McD's food, but the toys are pretty cool.

Man, you're just a talented woman ain't ya? Is there anything you CAN'T do? I've thought about trying to break into writing, and I've always been told I have a lot of natural talent, but I guess I lack for confidence. I've shown only a very few people any of what I've written. My kids love my stories, but then again they would, wouldn't they? Or at least they'd tell me they did.

I have to admit, that's been the one great thing about my condition. I've got to spend a lot of really good time with my young-uns, time that I never would have found while I was running my shop. All my kids like to hang out with me, which is pretty cool, and they actually value my opinion.

Well, friend, I'm going to give a shot at getting me a little shut-eye before the sun shows up. It likely won't work, but I guess I gotta try. Nitey-nite, Curious. Don't let the bed-bugs bite!

Yup, it happens at my castle, too. I just turn on the (noisy) bathroom fan and I can't hear them.

I just had my cervical MRI, and I'm tyred. I need to get to sleep, but have to finish paying my M-I-L's bills...

Much love and
