Honestly, I use it so rarely I forget where it is when I need it. The only time I've used it is if someone doesn't realize I'm there and try to back up or change lanes..When I drive in Minneapolis, seems like I'm always there at busy drive times. My hands almost need to be surgically removed from the wheel, so I don't use the horn there..

I'm not a honker. I honked when I was younger (much), driving my bug down the road. The guy got right behind me, at next light got out and came to my window, angry I rolled down the window(in this time of road rage, wouldn't do that now, would make sure my doors was locked.) Well, this young cute guy said "I really like your sticker". As he planned, I was really embarrassed by his niceness. For the rest of my driving life, I told myself not to honk, could be my old aunt, someone's old aunt anyway.

I honk when someone cuts me off. It used to be a rarity but it's gotten a lot worse in the last 4 months.

I drive 80 on limited access roads. Some roads that's 5 over. Some roads is 10 over. Some roads it's 15 over...

I drive 39.999 mph on McKeever Rd in Arcola TX (classic small TX town).

Hi! I live in a very small area, so when I honk my horn, it's usually b/c someone's dog is in the road or I see a friend outside and honk and wave. My DH will see someone bent over doing yardwork or whatever and lay on the horn. I'll stare out the window to see what he's honking at and the poor startled person glares at me!! I shrink down in my seat embarrassed. He thinks he's a riot!!!!! NOT!

When we are out in the car driving, if my DH is doing the driving a person better not honk at him from behind. He slows down and drives on the street using both lanes.

I only honk if someone almost hits me. Or if an animal is in the road - so out here, it's usually an animal, lol. And I don't speed. I might go 3 mph over, 5 on a highway if I have to.
