Karen,

You have every right to feel anxious about your future and all you are going through.
I do not know much about the legal aspects of your plight, but it sure doesn't sound right to me. Don't you qualify for legal aide. Also some lawyers do pro bono work.
It sounds like you are spending all of your money on fighting your uncertain future. I wish you could talk to someone who could steer you in the right direction but it certainly isn't me. (I'm DUH when it comes to law)
I can only say that I care and I hope that you know someone who could help you through this. It is hard enough to deal with all of the negative issues life hurls us when we are healthy and feel good. But it is so hard to concentrate on all there is to do when our health isn't working with us.
I don't know what a privy pit is.
I am just a country girl from Michigan. :)

Lots of hugs and support sent to you,
Judy

That meant a lot to me.

Thank you.

Julie,

I agree with KD. The quotes speak to many of us. The last 2 you posted really made me think about how I want to be. It definitely takes strength to forgive and forget at times. Sometimes I need to be reminded of some of my negative attitudes. All these posts put me back on track.

:You-Rock: THANK YOU ALL

Karen,
You are so welcome. I wish you all the good things that you deserve.
You have many people here who I am sure feel the same way and are here for you.

One day I was telling one of my fellow employees about someone who I felt just didn't like me and I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. This is how he responded and I found it so simple, yet so true and profound,

YOU CAN HAVE 100 PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU

AND ONE PERSON WHO DOESN'T.

WHO ARE YOU GOING TO OBSESS OVER? :o

I had to laugh because it is so true. I was spending way to much energy on trying to figure out what I did to this person. Maybe they just didn't care for me. But that is okay. I needed to know that I was blessed to have people who cared and let the other situation go.

That was a great lesson for me that day in just two little sentences.

Thanks for letting me share. :)

Anger is a huge subject for me...It bothers me so much to feel a true anger. Here are a couple that I can relate with:

Anger makes you smaller, while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you were.
Cherie Carter-Scott

If you do not wish to be prone to anger, do not feed the habit; give it nothing which may tend to its increase.
