I have a busy next few days ahead of me. I will be prepping the food for DD17's graduation party over the next couple of days. She wants California type soft tacos so today I will be slicing and roasting all the veggies (peppers, onions, zucchini, squash) and then will freeze them for Sat. Tomorrow I am going to my mom's to grate the carrots and cheese as well as help my mom with the cake and make the iced tea with oranges & plums. Then going out with DBF as Friday is our 10 year annv. of being together. Then Sat. we are going to my brother's to clean his house and decorate it, finish prepping the food, nap with my niece:p, and then the party will be at my brother's.

I am thankful that my mom, dad, brother, SIL, and DDs are all doing things to help me out so I don't overdo it.

Well, I was going to go grocery shopping this morning but I went back to bed instead and didn't get up until 10:30! I haven't even had a shower yet. Shopping may wait till tomorrow!

I'm going out to dinner tonight to meet a new girlfriend of Matt's. Made me feel good that he wanted me to meet her. I've seen her picture and she's a cute girl. She's younger than Matt (she's 23/he's 26)......his last gf was older than he is. I liked her so much but it just wasn't meant to work out for them, I guess. I think we're going to Macaroni Grill. I'm excited to meet her.

OK, I need to go take a shower and then take a Provigil so I'll be able to stay up past 8 PM tonight!

LOL Kelly! Yesterday I ended up taking 2 naps. I took a 2 hour nap, woke up, talked to DD17 for a bit, then had to go down for another nap. Normally I would have fought the 2nd nap as it was later in the afternoon but we had her reception to go to at school and I wanted to be awake enough to not only enjoy it but to not embarrass DD17 with my fatigued babble and slurring of words.:eek::D

I planned to go shopping for garden supplies... tomatoes need caging and the zucchini needs a trellis. BUT I went back to bed and caught a 3 hour nap this morning instead :eek:.

Apparently it has been raining all morning while I snoozed, now the sun is shining and the humidity is up too high for my body to survive out there. SO I'll clean up around here, tackle some laundry and play with the cat....more like take a nap with the cap :D.
