Things have not been good for several months...

I had severe pain in my left eye for several months, an MRI showed an inflammed muscle. Solumedrol infusions did not help and finally I was referred to an eye specialist, two weeks of steroid drops helped and it cleared up. I still have some residual pain, but tolerable.

I have been battling bronchitis for over a month, along with depression and fatique. My 100 yr old grandmother fell and broke her hip, had surgery and is now in rehab to get her strength back. She was living by herself, but that is not going to be the new rule when she is released.

My big orange cat, Garfield, received an injury and almost lost his eye, his face had a huge gash and I was taking care of that three times a day. He is doing fine and his face his healing nicely, his eye is ok. When it firsted happened you couldn't see his eye when his lids were opened, I'm so thankful his eye was just misplaced inside the socket. I moved it back in place and he sees out of it just fine.

My jack russell, Chazz, is getting old and has to take shots at least once a month...so I've been a little busy.lol

My grandson also stays with me most days since school is out and intertaining him takes a lot of energy.lol My BIL has gone back to Iraq, Belad to be exact also known as "motaritaville".

I have been really stressed more than ever since last year, and that has caused some other problems like my blood pressure shooting up to 177/104 and sometimes higher. I had to pick and choose activities to help get it down and unfortunately the boards was one I had to cut back.

I thank you for your concern and hope you got the messages. I do think of all of you even when I do not post or reply...it seems I have less energy each day. I haven't lost my sense of humor though, nor my faith....not so about my dignity after the last incident. lol

You lil darling take care and try to behave. I know the day will come when things are better and I also know that things are worse for others. I just felt you needed to know why I've been "ignoring" my lil babies. lol

Oh yeah...I lost all the email addresses, so if you expect an email...PM your address to me...yep, I can almost see the silver behind that cloud.lol

Sorry for all the challenges you've been facing. I'm glad things are looking better for you. Keep the faith and the sense of humor. It's a rough road without those two!

I knew something was up to keep you away so long.

It's good to see you posting again - we have all missed you and been wondering how you were doing!!! So sorry to hear that things have been pretty tough for you! I hope things settle down real soon and that your grandma makes a full recovery from her fractured hip - I will be keeping her in my thoughts and sending many healing thoughts her way!!!
