Sure! As long as ya promise not to post any pix. My house is a wreck! (I'm pretty beat up too LOL.)

Default Seasons

I read that days are getting shorter in the USA. It appears that evening is coming earlier as each week goes by.

The leaves are changing color. Fall is on it's way.

Have a look at what I picked from my garden this morning.

I'm probably in the minority here but I welcome the shorter days and the cooler weather. I love Fall/Winter. I love rainy, drizzly, cool days. I love having to wear socks in the house.

I've noticed that it's getting darker earlier and earlier now. But I just looked at the calendar and DST doesn't start until November 1st!!

You can keep the rain and drizzle, and I can't say I like it getting dark earlier, but I love cool! Sweatshirt weather, YESSSS!

Default Noooooooooooooooooo!

I saw a leaf fall from a tree yesterday and rushed over and tried to stick it back on. Yes, I know that’s futile and pathetic, but I hate the end of summer and the coming of the shorter days.

I clearly suffer from SAD. As I was just saying to Billie, I'm thinking of following the example of a friend who sits under the special light she bought for her similarly afflicted parakeet. She claims it works great - except for her irresistible urge to feed seeds to her reflection.

LOL!!

The leaves here are falling like crazy. Seems early to me but I'll take it! I can always tell when the trees are getting "thin" because I can see my neighbors back deck. During the summer when the trees are full and green it provides a barrier to all surrounding houses.

I wasn't aware that animals (parakeets) could have SAD. I wonder if your friend also scoots back and forth and bobs her head up and down when she sees someone she likes?!

Yep our days are getting longer, the grass is growing, ready to make hay. Its just a shame I really dislike summer, the long HOT days really do me in, still it is a gorgous season.
