Oh colbey, I understand the different stories that are said to us.
Last week, my adult Daughter recieved a back-pay check of $185.00, I had been told the family maximum for payout for my daughters was paid out.
I'm glad she did recieve it but was told if anything was paid out it would cause an overpayment. I told the agent, I don't want that to happen.
I'm still waiting on my SSD backpay.

Thanks

Oh is there a cap on the amount of children backpay.
They (I have 4 eligible children my second oldest turned 19 in 6/09) they said over the phone each child's monthly benefit should be 242 monthly as of 2/09. Is that why it is taking so long. Is the a maxium amount of backpay benefits they will pay to children?

Hi guys! I am not 100%, but I think someone once said that it is like a pie...each beneficiary gets a percentage of the total....I dunno....I have no idea.
I hope you guys are well !
Take care!

Update-- I finally received my SSDI back pay for my children. Bank accounts setup and in place all is good now. Whew what a journey.
Hang in there everyone else that is still waiting or still in the approval process. I am glad I did not give up.
