I filed for SSDI and then got the Adult Function Report in the mail. I have a traumatic brain injury and lots of other things that go with it. My Dr has listed me as permitly disabled- she told me at my monthly apt. After faxing the report back to them about how long does it take to hear back? Is there another step after this?

It took me two months from the time I completed all the paperwork until the time I received my letter but from what I understand it can vary depending on a number of circumstances--how many applications they receive, how many people are currently working cases, even what state you are in. Good luck. I hope all goes well for you.

Along with the Adult Function Report I had to complete a Work History Report. I completed those in late July.
My application is still pending though it recently moved from the Disability Determination office to a local Social Security office. I'm hoping I hear something soon. Good luck. |
