The deal between my Government, and the terms of the conditions of the trust did not go together. They opposed each other. One told me to do one thing, and the Government told me Another. Both me and my Son were trustees together. When the money ran out, I turned over the house to Sean legally, by signing it over to him. I made my own trust according to what the trust my mother gave me would allow. I turned over this house legally as best I could. My name is on nothing but my checking account. All proceedings were reported correctly. I did all with a CPA and attorney. All agencies have a copies of the trust, meaning SSID, medicaid, DCF. Do you know that the MEDICAID office asked me what the trust said?. They did not have a clue on how it worked with medicaid. I did the best I could with an attorney and it still may not turn out good. I did everything with openness to all with this trust. I provided proof of all transactions, and left a paper trail for them to look at. My name was never on this house to begin with, it was always made out to my parents name, all I did was make it so my son-in-law cannot take this home from our family if I should indeed have to walk out of this house. My son-in-law realized many years ago, that this house would be split between both children, and he wants my daughters half. This situation needs an attorney very much. When you run out of money, you no longer have the money for a lawyer. My son is paying for the Attorney who helped me get my dissability. He is the one trying to figure this out, and he is having a devil of time as it is outside his field of expertise. I also have my doctor helping me, and a psych for council. This situation is beyond what I am able to handle and more than what my SS attorney can handle ginnie

Social services People who get SSI also may be able to get social services from the state in which they live. These services include free meals, housekeeping help, transportation or help with other problems. You can get information about services in your area from your state or local social services or welfare office. Food stamps People who get SSI usually can get food stamps, too. You can get a food stamp application at your Social Security office or local social services or welfare office. For more information ask for Food Stamps And Other Nutrition Programs (Publication N You'll probably get a check soon for the back pay. |

Dear Legal mania, well I am up a river without a paddle. My PC is dead Ithink and has been sent up north to see if it can be revived, I am working with a dinosaur. I am not sure if I will ever be able to afford a new one. I am not limited to 30 mins. at the library. Not enough time to leave message on line to social security. I will leave this up to the attorney now and God. I cannot deal with all that is happening to me right now. I sure hate to be cut off from my friends here. I will seek another attorney if I fail in my attempt to rectify my trust with what the agiency wants. I only know that when I had money to pay for taxes I did not quallify for help with medicaid. When I spent the money and went broke, couldn't pay the taxes, they took my food stamps away. So I was penalized in both directions. It seems to me the good guys do finsih last. I am very depressed because of all this. Ineed a miracle for a new PC. Can you tell others I know please, what happened, and why I am off line? There are good souls trying to help me, and I don't want them to think I didn't want to reply. My time is ticking at the library, so I will say goodbye for a bit. Keep me in your heart. On my private site I left some information if anyone wants to keep in touch with me the old fashioned way. always, ginnie

I hope to hear from someone soon who can help you. Hopefully the show will bring someone with a good heart to help you. I know it's hard but keep your head up. It was good talking with you and take care. I will continue to try to find people who know what to do in a case like yours. |
