hey guys! well, I went and opened a checking account today for direct deposit. the bank gave me a form to take to my local ss office.
what I am wondering is, when I give that form to them for ssi, will it automaticly go in for ssdi??? Or will i have to do a seperate thing for them???? Thanks! |

When I initially filed for SSDI over the phone, I gave the person my banks name as I wanted direct deposit instead of receiving an actual check (if I won). SS did all the rest. I didn't have to do anything. Maybe things have changed? ![]() |

Hello, and I hope I heard your question correctly. In having direct deosit, I had to call in Each check seperately, as they are from different aciencies. One is disability medicaid, the other is SSDI. Now both of them will go directly to my account. They are going to make us do this paperless thing anyway, so I signed up for it when my last checks came. It was easy to do. ginnie
