Default Ssi

I received a fully favorable decision from the judge on December 20th. I had an appt with SS January 11. Can you tell me how long it will be to receive my back payments and when my SSI payments will start.

It is reasonable to expect first check 30-60 days after the date of the decision, so since it wasn't Jan 1st, it could be either Feb 1st or Mar 1st. Retroactive benefits take about 60-90 days, so sometime in late February to early April.

Or not. Depends on specifics of your case and your claims representative.
