Default soft credit report?

I went on my social security and started an acct. Today I got an email from ss that said this

Thank you for creating an online account with Social Security on 08/08/2013. You can log in any time to www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount with your username and password to access Social Security's online services.

Social Security may use an identity verification service provided by Experian to help verify your identity and protect your privacy when you register to do business with us online. When we make a verification request to establish your account, Experian may use information from your credit report to help verify your identity. As a result, you may see an entry called a "soft inquiry" on your Experian credit report. This will show an inquiry by the Social Security Administration with our address and the date of the request. Soft inquiries do not affect your credit score, and you do not incur any charges related to them. Soft inquiries are displayed in the version of the credit profile viewable only to consumers and are not reported to lenders. The soft inquiry will not appear on your credit report from Equifax or TransUnion, and will generally be removed from your Experian credit report after 25 months. Once you have registered for an online account, you will not generate additional soft inquiries by logging in to access our services.

I am on ssdi.....they said they are doing a soft credit report to make sure I am who I say who I am.....my issue is I had a couple of credits cards that I used for very small amts and have paid them off.

But my ex husband and I live together, we applied to refinance the house and I am listed as borrower and he co bowerer ..... he pays 2/3 of the mortgage payments and all of the utilities, they have my ssdi income on the forms, but is this going to hurt my ssdi benefits, my social security sight and I have the option of emailing them, should I? the mortgage company has us listed as married, but we divorced over 9 years ago, we just live together.

anything owed on repairs are listed in his name as paying, I am not on ssi, so I have assests and I payed off my car with some of that when found disabled because I knew I could not afford the pymts. ss for all the stupid questions
