I haven't posted in here for a while, but I did file for disability back in late April, shortly after I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Come the first of August, I get a letter saying that I have to have a mental exam done. In some of your experiences, how much more is there left to do after this to get an answer?

It really depends and if you check with an attorney, other folks on or applying, other online stories, you will see much variation. You will also better understand the whole process, as it is now. I encourage you to dig in and get more info. Even the SSA site has lots of stuff on it. The best!
