Not sure if I filed the right ssa papers.

I filed for disability on Jan 9 2014. I don't have enough work credits to qualify, but I am almost positive I am eligible for ssi. A decision has been made on my case as of the 23rd . I don't know if that is good or bad. Also will the ssa if they know your eligible for ssi give it to you or make you fill out another application for ssi. Filed for crohn's, bipolar, ibs and ocd. Had lots of medical records on hospital stays and surgeries.

You have to apply. Part of qualifying is filing an application. You can't do it online. The SSDI claim may protect your SSI filing date but it is not an application for SSI. You can make an appointment with your local office. Bring proof of income, resources and living arrangements, if any.
