The SGA amount is the same for everyone on SSDI. It changes every year, so they're just letting you know the current amount. If you're not going to work, it won't effect you.

Thank You my first benefit planning query I didn't know what that amount was their for because I haven't worked since 1995 been on ssdi since then for getting the BPQY for the first time didn't know what that was I thought they had me down as working I guess that is the amount you are able to make if you decided to go to work no more then $1090.00 im guessing that is correct and no can work so I guess they put that on all BPQY to let disability people that if their was to work they can only make up to $1090.00 did I get it right im such a pain lol,

More or less. It's a bit more complicated, but if you're not going to work you really don't need to worry about it.

Hey all I have a question anyone that is on disability here and knows this? After I have been on Disability since 1998 I just realized on my Medicare card Part A Hospital coverage date 1/1998 and Part B Medical coverage date 3/2002 and my Benefit Planning Query said Medicare Part A and Part B started 1/1998 so the question is why are the years of coverage different on my Medicare card and my BPQY ?And I don't know why my Medicare card said Part A (Hospital) 1/1998 and Part B ( Medical ) 3/2002 would anyone know why the dates wouldnt match from my Medicare card and BPQY? and the Medicare card Part A 1/1998 and Part B 3/2002 and don't know why their is a 4 year gap between the Part A and Part B on my Medicare card its been so long im thinking I elected to pick up Part B Medical in 2002 but but why don't all the dates match up I really don't feel like waiting 50 minute or longer to speak to SSA representative if its something simple so if anyone as Medicare and received a BPQY can you let me know ? Thank you guy you have been a great help in the pass
