Sorry to hear that your wait continues. Is it strictly SSDI for which you applied, or are there other benefits to which you applied that may be slowing things down? LIke SSI ?
The message on your online SSA account is just standard jargon until everything is completed. As Jo*Mar suggested,.... you may want to set up an alert with your financial institution to which direct deposits are to be made, to send you an automatic message that a direct deposit has been received. THAT may give you information faster than checking your SSA account online. I am not sure, but I think the payments are actually received by the recipient before they are posted to the account online under SSA. I am sorry that the SSA office person to whom you spoke gave you such a "curt" response of you will get it when you get it. That is just RUDE. That may be the case in fact, but I am sure there is a nicer way to say it. |
