Hello,
I have had small fiber neuropathy (SFN) for 19 months (July 2014). Applied about seven months after (January 2015) after being unable to work. My family doctor suggested it. I was denied four months later (Late April 2015), and told that even though I had SFN, I could still work. I retained an attorney and formally asked for an appeal with a circuit court judge. Now, 10 months later (February 2016), they have asked for more information and it looks like I might get a court date, according to paralegal in about 6 months (~August 2016). I have not worked since the SFN came after a surgery. Family doctor already told me it will be very hard to get, as it is not an obvious disability. I have major pain and pronounced fatigue. I have fallen a lot and not driving since 12/2014. Anyway, thanks for reading. Is there anyone that gets disability like me? My family doctor told me to keep trying up to 5 years! Any suggestions? Thank you. |
