I am 67 yrs. old and receive the minimun amount of SS and a small amount of SSI (I have peripheral neuropathy). I also have full Medicare/Medicaid.
It looks like I will receive an inheritance. Will I loose all benefits? What ,if anything, can I do? I have this vision of loosing all benefits, then spending the inhertance on survival and after a year re-applying for the above programs  Any advice would be appreciated

I am no expert, but I don't think you will lose your benefits. The inheritance is a one time deal. You aren't working to get the money. Heck, even millionaires can get SSDI if they can not work anymore.

JD...
i'm far from an expert on this but I have found out through my own experience that SSI (SSI = Social Security Supplemental Income)payments are based on income... so there is a chance that this will be reduced due to your inheritance... but the SS should not be reduced or canceled. I would suggest contacting a social security lawyer who would be able to answer your question. (many will answer a question without charging anything) Best wishes!! Abbie
