Angry hade my alj hearing thursday

well the alj was a real mean jerk even though i had 2 supportive rfc he feels because my med records show consumtion of 4-5 beers a night that is why i have schizoaffective disorder and bipolar 1 and a sever lower back after 2 surgeries, he said i wont take my meds because of that. bull im on my meds and have been my lawyer said we have less than a 50-50 of a award for ssdi. but the alj will send it to his assistant to review it to make sure he didnt miss anything. this is bull my beer has no affect on my disabilities

I don't think you can get social security any more for being an alcoholic.

Sorry this did not go well for you...if drinking because of medical problems is an issue...I know people that would still be waiting. Was the judge confused that this was part of your disability...the drinking beer part?

Just a caution however, please becareful mixing those meds with alcohol, even beer.

Hang in there I waited four years for a hearing before approved.
