I was awarded a fully favorable decision at my Social Security Disability hearing. I'm thankful.

I found out today that I'm losing most of my food stamps beginning next month. I was getting $200. Now I will be getting $50 dollars a month. Why are they doing this?

I also got 3 envelopes of new forms I have to fill out. I have OCD,and the more I write,the more I check what I write. Dang! Then I start to get confused,because I sort of overload when trying to get these type of documents straight.

This is something that has always bothered me. Why can't they give people some time (a month or more) to get settled into their new financial position? Then on top of that they give you so many forms to fill out, it makes it more difficult.

If we could fill out forms all day, we could have been working !

I understand that now your income will go up, so you won't qualify for as many low income benefits, but geez......it'd be nice if they let you get a SSDI check before they start chopping other services !
