Hi Everyone, Im from rsd site, but was recommended I post here - I am so encouraged by this news for everyone.
Hi everyone, On the today show, this am they showed a breakthrough for people with spinal injuries that was amazing. they completly thru out the theory that the brain had to communucate with the spine for the legs to move .They have rats with severed spinal cords walking with an epidural of medicine and an electical current sent to the nerves of the legs. It was incredible and means that the one out of every 50 people in wheel chairs could walk in our life time. God Bless them. I feel so encouraged today. You can probably go to their website to pull up the story also they may run it again this am, I saw it on the early version of today.Hope you can catch the story, cz Hi Since Posting, I found an internet link to the full story with video, cz http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0920204455.htm Last edited by CZZ74; 09-22-2009 at 07:18 AM.
