I was hoping to get some insight from others which might have a similar experience as mine.
When I giving birth to my first child, I had an epidural injected incorrectly into my spine. My husband was in the hospital room and saw the fluid squirt from my back. The Anesthesiologist immediately injected me with another epidural. He then told me I was going to experience a headache the next day. After the epidural wore off, I did experience severe neck pain and could not lift my head from my bed for 2 weeks. I had 3 spinal taps and they did not work. In time the pain went away. Five years later, I am having a stabbing pain in the same spot where the epidural was inserted into my spine incorrectly. Has anyone had this similiar experience and if so, is there treatment for it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
